The DermatoClean Micellar Cleansing Fluid comes in a 200ml white transparent plastic bottle which allows you to keep track of how much content is left. The top is a spin-on cover which means that the content needs to be squeezed out. The only disadvantage is that if we squeeze too hard, the contents spill out heavily.
The product doesn’t have any smell.
The solution was made to be used on all skin types.
For most effective results, we used the product twice a day every day.
In the morning, we squeezed a fair amount of the solution on a cotton pad and gently wiped it over our face starting with the forehead, then the nose and cheeks and lastly the chin and jawline and then rinsing off any residue with some cold water and continuing with our morning routine.
At night, we used the same methodology as in the morning routine but since there would be more makeup on the face at night, we also squeezed a fair amount on 2 other cotton pads and placed them over each eye for 15-20 seconds to make sure all make up residue is removed properly.
The solution has 3 active ingredients that work in harmony to achieve a clean and breathing skin:
– APG Complex: an effective yet extra mild cleansing complex
– Gluco-glycerol: a nature-derived moisturizing active to deeply moisturize the skin
– Hyaluronic acid: skin care active with a high moisture binding capacity.=
We noticed results from the first day of usage: the solution removed easily all water-soluble eye and face make-up. All the dust and creams used during the night clean off easily in the morning but unfortunately the fluid was not very effective in removing waterproof makeup. Those required waterproof makeup removers.
After a week of usage, we also noticed that the skin felt softer and suppler to the touch. Every application felt refreshing – like you’re throwing cold water on your face which prepared the skin for better regeneration. Therefore, since the solution is liquid and light, it does not dry off the skin, improving the skin’s ability to absorb oxygen and hence be more moisturized after each use.
On top, the solution is free of fragrance, alcohol, colorants and paraben, making it perfect especially for those who have any allergies and is suitable for wearers of contact lenses since it does not sting.
This product retails at a price of 21$/200ml which is less expensive then Micellar Lotion by Eau Thermale Avène sold at 29$ for the same capacity or the Physiological Micellar Water Ultra from La Roche-Posay that has the same price and quantity like Avène.
