This Benefit liquid lip color line comes in a cardboard box outside packaging, that reminds us of bubble gums that we used to love as kids. The box is very bright and colorful, dual colored blue and yellow, with the name of the product written in bright fuchsia, with red lips in the background. Once the box is open, you will find a thin clear squeeze tube with a screw on silver top. The tube reflects the color of the product inside of it. The words “Punch Pop!” are written a large white font on the tube.
This packaging is very bright and reminds us of our childhood. The liquid lip color looks like the glosses that we use to own as teenagers. It’s not very elegant, but it is quite playful and easy to travel with.
Available Colors:
This liquid lipstick is available in seven different shades: Bubblegum – Sweet pink; SugarCookie – Nude pink; Pink berry – Mauve berry; Watermelon – Hot pink; Cherry – Pinky red; Mango – Tropical coral; and Strawberry – Juicy red.
Tested Colors:
We tried Pinkberry and Bubblegum colors.
Smell:
We were a bit disappointed by the absence of flavor or fragrance. It doesn’t smell bad at all, but we expected a fruity taste or smell.
Texture:
The Punch Pop! Liquid lip color by Benefit has quite the creamy texture. It is non-sticky.
Application:
Easily glide the liquid lip color over your lips. The softly curved applicator helps to obtain a smooth and even application. It is quite easy to apply even when out and about.
Effect:
The feel and color of this liquid lipstick are great. You can choose the color based on your mood, and you are guaranteed it will brighten up your face and drive attention to your lips. It is a great alternative for those of us that are looking to change from matte looks which were extremely popular in the last few years and searching for something a little more reflective to wear on their lips. It has a smooth, non-sticky shine finish.
Beware, it can be a little drying, so we recommend the use of a lip balm after use.
Price:
The Punch Pop! Liquid Lip Color line is priced 26.6$ for 7.0 ml, which is a good price compared to other similar range products that are much more expensive, like Estee Lauder’s Pure Color Envy Gloss collection priced at 39$ for 7ml, or the Clinique Pop Liquid Matte lip color at 36$ for 6ml. There are however, lower range products that have more attractive prices, such as L’Oréal Paris’ Infaillible Lip Paint, priced at 15$ for 8ml.

What I love the most about the Punch Pop is how attractive it is. Very fun and cool packaging and design. I’m not a fan of lip gloss usually but it has a nice finish to it. Recommended.

Normally, I don’t wear lipglosses because it gives me an uncomfortable feeling of stickiness. But this lipgloss is very light on the lips, it wont stick them together and you won’t be a mess if the wing blows your hair on it haha!
I tried the Bubblegum shade and right when you open the box (very colorful and esthetically pleasing one), you get a see-through tube and this is handy because it shows the color before you try it on.
When I applied it, the tint is rather natural and the color enhanced your natural lip color.
When it comes to the smell, it doesn’t smell at all.
I wore it for 7 hours, I ate lunch and drank coffee and still it held on very good, I retouched it a few times after that.
I would recommend Benefit as a brand in general and this lipgloss is really a good product!

I tried the punch pop liquide lip gloss . I found it very natural once applied on ur lips not sticky , shiny . The pink reminded me of sweet bubblegum. It lasts also a long time once applied

The packaging of the lipsticks is so fun and brings back teenage memories!
The product itself is creamy yet glossy and leaves an excellent effect on the lips. If you are looking for a natural color with a nice pop and glossy finish this is the product for u. It lasts a while and feels great on the lips.

I tried the Bubblegum Punch Pop! Liquid gloss by Benefit. The packaging and the tube reminded me of those glosses I used to have as a kid. The color definitely reflects the color of those bubblegum pieces from our childhood. I was expected a nice bubblegum smell or taste, but it wasn’t there. I was pleasantly surprised by the touch and the feel of the gloss on my lips! Wasn’t sticky and glides very easily, unlike other glosses. It lasts for a long time and it’s easy to touch up during the day. The sweet pink color doesn’t give a bright color but rather gives the lips a nice full sheen and tint – giving a natural makeup look. Definitely recommend it.

i’m more of a glossy person than a lipstick one to begin with
now Benefit brand was introduced to my life about 2 years ago, not in Lebanon
their day to day and professional use products brought my attention and when i got this funky colorful package as a gift i couldn’t but feel like a little girl again it was closer to the Bubble gums we used to buy
my Punch Pop was Bubble gum shade which got me excited
only disappointment was when i opened it, no bubble gum smell 🙁
simply applied one layer that was not even thick and the applicator was very soft and evened out the amount of gloss being placed
came in handy over the next few days when having to rush inside meetings, no mirrors needed nor having to worry if it got smudged or out of line, the applicator plays a great roll in this process
smooth and glossy giving a lovely shine to dull colored lips
loved the fact that it lasts with that shine for a good amount of hours
doesn’t give you a sticky feeling and has a light smooth texture
i tend to bite my lips when working under pressure – was worried about the gloss so i did not and it lasted me up to 6 hours – give or take
now this gloss lipstick is like no other for daily use
just a little touch up after grabbing a bite or coffee
wish Benefit would only work on enhancement of the smell to make it bubbly
Punch Pop got other shades as well but i so fell in love with Bubble gum

Mine is the cherry pink red, although it pumps the lips for a fuller look, it felt a little sticky and i had to renew it after eating, good for an everyday look, a few drops of it topping the lipstick looks good too. I wouldn’t renew it.

This lipstick is extremely pigmented and lasts all day long. It also does not make your lips feels very light on the lips and does not make them feel dry. It is very easy to apply. I would definitely recommend it

“For someone who doesn’t like glosses that much, I found myself liking this one. It comes in an irresistible package and color, glides on beautifully, and doesn’t feel sticky throughout the day. It’s not that long lasting (is any gloss, really?) and I found it super weird that when I opened it and took a sniff, it had ZERO smell. For something so appealing and delicious looking, you’d expect this bubblegum or berry smell, but there was nothing. And I mean NOTHING. Not even chemical smells or anything. I had to give my nose a few taps to make sure it’s working. But that’s not saying it’s a bad thing. Just something I found odd!”

“They say “”don’t judge a book by its cover””, and most of the time they are right ! Looking at the Benefit Punch Pop! Lip color, I never imaged even liking it. The box’s vivid colors, the big wording, the popping lips, all led me to thinking that this product was “”teenage targeted””. Sure i used to love glossy lips back when i was a teenager but now that i have become a mom i wasn’t at all tempted into trying this product.Let me tell you I was completely wrong ! This Lip color is glossy, long-lasting, well pigmented, and most importantly very easy to apply especially in the car (that meant i can apply it while driving to and from school or nursery)*life saviour*. It made my lips look very plum and POPPING as the name implies, didn’t try them out (didn’t use it more than 3 days in a row though), and even got my son’s attention ! I was disappointed however that contrary to its “”bubblegum”” naming, it doesn’t have any bubblegum scent, nor bubblegum taste (yes i do taste all my lipsticks and glosses (mommy gets to try everything before the kids. Having said that, i think overall this is a great product, easy to apply , and popping. With a little bit of scent or taste it would be, in my opinion, a great product to purchase and use!”

“Punch Pop! Liquid Lip combines vibrant color with a shiny finish to create the perfect blend for lips that pop! Available in 7 bright lip colors 1) I love the packaging of this product so colourful, cute 2) formula: a- Smooth, non-sticky shine finish, b- Buildable color glides on easily, c- Contains vitamin E known to soften lips 3) the color was streaky and not exactly pigmented 4) My own experience of using this lip gloss (what I liked?) I prefer something that is more long wearing, however I love how juicy it looks on my lips, does not make them feel dry. It is very easy to apply. “Packaging: My inner child was dancing. The box is soooo cute ! At first I thought Hey ! Bubble gum! Because it is so similar. Loved the packaging, it is so nice. The gloss itself doesn’t smell like bubblegum at all, The smell is actually neutral. I loved the color, I never thought I would wear a pink gloss ever, but I fell in love with it and I have been using it daily ever since I got it. Why? It’s not like the usual gloss. at all. It is not sticky whatsoever. The pigmentation is strong. and it feels more like balm or liquid chapstick than a gloss. It has vitamin E and it feels like a moisturizer for the lips instead. The do have the glossy shine though. It last up to 5 hours or 6 hours ( no eating no drinking ). But You’d be addicted from the first application. I am personally loving it! It fell straight into my daily makeup routine. and it can be used as a top coat after applying any matte lipstick.”

“I don’t usually opt for lipglosses when choosing lip products, but I found this suprisingly nice. 1- Packaging is very 90’s vibes and girly, it is light and easy to put in your bag to re-apply later on, because it certainly does not last all day. 2- It doesn’t have a specific scent, which is suprising. It is not sticky and the colour is fairly pigmented; I received the shade bubblegum and because I’m quite tan I wouldn’t usually go for such a light/pinky shade, but I find that I like it when I put a thin layer on my lips. 3: I find that I am more of a matte lip girl, but I do actually like this product, and would most definitely recommend this to a friend and to all you lipgloss gals out there!”

“I just got the Onousa December box and it contains the bubble gum Punch Pop! It’s good, I personally dont like gloss but it’s nonsticky which is one of the many reasons I don’t like gloss. It’s also a really bright shade of pink so if you’re the pretty in pink kinda girl you’ll love this. It’s tasteless and doesn’t have a smell which was disappointing when associated with the name bubble gum.”

“I have received this gloss in the shade pink-berry and I fell in love with it. Usually, I am not a fan of pink shades on my lips nor of lip glosses but this was a game-changer. Packaging: super cute, easy to use, the tip lets you line your lips easily and the color pigmentation is amazing even though it is sheer due to it being a gloss. I expected this to have a nice bubble gum or fruity smell though but it didn’t. Experience: I applied this without a lipliner and it went on pretty smoothly since the shape of the tip really helps in that. The color pay-off is amazing and the formula is pretty thick which is a plus for me. I am personally keeping this in my purse to apply and re-apply whenever needed since I find it easier than applying a lipliner or a liquid lipstick if I am in a hurry.”

“Regarding the product, I used the “bubblegum” shade which is the perfect shade for my skintone and for fall and winter as well. As it comes to its application, a little goes a very long way. In general, I find this gloss super easy to use and very effective if all what you want is adding some shine and moisture to your lips. “Okay so I ended up really liking this! Packaging: A+. Cute and doesn’t bother me in my purse Smell: I didn’t notice this untill @nourinwonderland pointed it out. This has Zero smell! & as much as i find this off for a gloss, i kinda like it as i get cringy if a lip product had a strong smell. Formula: note that am a Huge Gloss Fan!! I find them easier to wear through weekdays. This formula seemed to be more of glossy liquid lip rather than a pure gloss which makes it thicker and more pigmented. It can be just a lil bit sticky for me, but I didn’t mind wearing it all day. Doesn’t last up but that’s expected from glossy formulas. The color does linger up to 5 hours though! Shade Maive Berry: perfect. Just perfect.”

“Upons seeing the blue and yellow packaging with the pink “punch pop” letters, I was immediately transported back to the sweet 2000s, when your makeup was as cool as your lipgloss! Regarding the product itself, I used the “bubblegum” shade which is sweet, but personally too pink for me. As it comes to its application, i realised that moderation is key, and a little goes a very long way. If you apply too much, the color just tends to “stick” unnaturally on your lips, while dabbing a small amount can really add a natural pink shade to your lips, while giving them a plumpy and juicy look and feel, without the “sticky feeling” that all lipglosses usually create. In general, I find this gloss super easy to use and very effective whether you want to add a sense of freshness and plump to your everyday look, or a little shine to some very dry matte lips. P.s: was a bit dissapointed about the smell of the product, since upon seeing the packaging and the product name (bubblegum), you’d expect a sweet bubblegummy smell!”

“When I saw this product, I directly remembered my childhood memories when I used to apply pink lip gloss. The packaging is so cute and fun as all Benefit products. It is really tempting to look at it and just grab it and use it. I loved the texture of the gloss, especially that it does not crack up the lips when it dries up, instead I felt it is nutritious as it contains Vitamin E. The thing is I have the “”Bubblegum”” shade, and I am not a fan of pink lips at all. I am more into nudes and browns, and this shade is more “”pinky”” for my taste, adding to that that I prefer matte lipsticks rather than pinky glossy lip glosses. It is a fair product for people who love pink lip gloss.”

“I’m a big lover of liquid lipsticks and lip glosses which is why I obviously really liked this product. It is also extremely well pigmented and lasts all day long. It is also not sticky, which is great considering most glosses do. However, the only inconvenient for me was the color, which doesn’t really suit me and is a bit too pink for my taste, I’d personally go with the Sugar Cookie shade of this product. But I’d definitely recommend!”

“I tried this lip liquid color from benefit ( punch pop) with color Bubblegum. I am in love with this liquid lip color , first of all it has a creamy texture w with a shiny finish ! I received this lovely product in an onoussa box and ever since then I couldn’t stop using it ! I have the shade pink berry a gorgeous everyday nude . The formula is a hybrid between a lipstick and a lipgloss very highly pigmented and non sticky and wears nicely . It does not last all day and if you eat it will come off but that is because its a lipgloss and doesn’t dry down. Keeps your lips hydrated all day long and when it fades the color will remain as a tint on your lips . It fades in a very clean way and does smudge ! Highly recommend that you would purchase it as it has become a staple in my makeup bag ! Especially when I go to uni !

“I’m not a lipstick or a lip gloss kind of person, so when i first saw it I felt that the color is too flashy for me. However, when I tried it on it added a glamorous touch on my makeup especially if you’re applying makeup that is kind of glossy. In addition to that, I tried tapping on it with a tissue to remove the glossiness so it gave a natural light pink color to the lips which is perfect for the “”No makeup makeup look”” which can be used on daily basis.”

The packaging was cute and creative. The lipgloss itself is easy to apply and shiny. I liked that it’s not sticky. I was expecting a bubblegum taste and smell since the package and colour gave the hint of bubblegum.
