The “Matte Lipstick” by Anastasia Beverly Hills comes in a black and gold box embosses with the product and brand information. The black cap closes securely onto the gold base which makes the product travel friendly. We found the packaging to be classy and sleek.
Colors Available and Color Tested:
The “Matte Lipstick” is available in more than 35 shades that range from nudes to pinks, reds, browns, purples, greens and blues. We tested this product in “Plumeira” a deep orchid color with hints of berry.
Texture:
This lipstick has a creamy texture.
Scent:
This product does not have any particular smell.
Effect:
When we tested the “Matte Lipstick” by Anastasia Beverly Hills we noticed how highly pigmented the color is. In fact, only one layer of lipstick is enough for an opaque finish. The product does not feel heavy on the lips and is comfortable to wear throughout the day. The “Matte Lipstick” by Anastasia Beverly Hills has a long wearability and transfers minimally. Additionally, the product does not smudge, fade or crease. We recommend removing the product with a lipstick remover because it tends to leave a sort of tattoo stain on the lips after regular removal. Additionally, the lipstick dries entirely on the lips, so we recommend exfoliating and using a lip balm before application. This will ensure a smooth finish and optimal hydration for the lips.
Price:
The “Matte Lipstick” by Anastasia Beverly Hills sells at $18/3.5g which is comparable to other similar products in that range like Kat Von D’s “Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick” which retails at $19/3.4g and Urban Decay’s “Vice Lipstick” which sells at $18/3.3g. This is the only lipstick i’ve used that lasted al day even after eating & drinking! it’s superrrr pigmented what i love too about is that even though it’s matte it doesn’t dry the lips at all which i suffer from when using matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks.

I recently purchased this, and let me just say that it is PERFECTION! Absolutely gorgeous! It’s a little rough to put on, however, once it’s on, IT’S ON and they’re NOT joking about it! Beautiful finish (granted, I love me some matte lipstick), lasts all night, even when you’re eating and drinking it barely moves! Would definitely recommend it!!
