OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The “Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask” by Kiehl’s is packaged in a green square box with a golden oil drop and plant design on it. The product and brand information are written in white and gold on the box.

Texture:

The mask is made of material similar to hydrogel and has a soft feel.

Skin Type:

The mask is suitable for all skin types.

Smell:

The mask has a mild smell.

Application:

Remove the secure wrapping and place the upper and lower sections of the mask on a clean and dry face. Using your fingers, gently press the sheet mask on the face and then leave on for 10 minutes.

Effect:

After testing the “Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask” by Kiehl’s we noticed that the hydrogel sheet is thicker than other masks. But the serum does not drip from the mask because the essence is part of the mask instead of being soaked in it. The mask’s size fits almost all face shapes. It stayed in place for the entire 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the mask was not completely dry. After removing the mask, there was some oily essence left that we rubbed in on the face and waited for an additional 5 minutes before washing the product off. We found the “Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask” by Kiehl’s as effective in giving a boost of hydration and freshness to the face. After only 1 use, the face looked more radiant and well rested. However, when tested on oily skin, the mask made the skin even oilier. So, we would not recommend it for individuals with oily complexions.

Price:

The “Instant Renewal Concentrate Mask” by Kiehl’s includes 4 sachets and retails for $32/30mL which is comparable to other products in a similar range such as Origins’ Flower Fusion “Violet Nourishing Sheet Mask” which sells at $7/mask and it is less expensive than other products in a different range like Filagora’s Hydra-Filler Mask which retails at $19/23g mask.
