This product has a gel-like texture.
The “Thé des Vignes Shower Gel” has a very nice smell that lingers after application.
This product is designed for all skin types.
Apply a dollop of this shower gel either directly on the skin or on a loofah. Lather up the product on damp skin and rinse it off thoroughly.
We tested the “Thé des Vignes Shower Gel” by Caudalie almost every day for two weeks. During the shower we noticed that the smell of the product is very nice, and its application is easy. However, a lot of product is needed for the shower gel to lather up.
The “Thé des Vignes Shower Gel” is designed without any parabens or harmful ingredients for the skin. The shower gel did not irritate the skin or cause skin outbreaks or redness of any kind. Even when tested on sensitive skin. In fact, it was easy to wash off without leaving any residue.
After several applications, we noticed that the skin felt smooth and moisturized. The effects lasted until the next shower: the skin did not dry up or crackle. We even tried a couple of applications without follow-up body lotion. And the effects were still visible: the skin was nourished, and the body felt revitalized because of the freshness of the shower-gel.
The downside is the quantity of product needed to lather-up. Otherwise, the “Thé des Vignes Shower Gel” cleaned the skin thoroughly without irritating it and left it smelling great.
The “Thé des Vignes Shower Gel” by Caudalie retails at $12/200 mL which is a good price compared to other products in the same range like Kiehl’s “Musk Shower Gel” selling at $20/250 mL and Origin’s “Salt Studs: Foaming Body Wash” which retails at $26/200 mL.
