    I love this eyeliner!
I recently became a big eyeliner fan and this has helped me a lot. From its easy application, to its perfect shade.
    Highly recommended

I want this❤️t definitely beat all the liners I have ever tried (even the “waterproof” ones) when it comes to staying power.

Without a doubt the best liner pencil I have EVER used. (and this is huge since I basically tried them all)
It is simply just so easy to use and apply (yes, even if your hand is very shaky), very precise, the color is the perfect black shade, glides very easily and most importantly lasts.
It definitely beat all the liners I have ever tried (even the “waterproof” ones) when it comes to staying power. It is also completely smudge proof, just 5-10 minutes post application.
Very sadly, I just ran out of it and been using my backup liners for a while. But really, nothing compares. I’m currently waiting for a friend to buy it for me from Sephora on her next travel.
Please Loolia Closet team, consider adding some Kat Von D to your collection!

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The “Tattoo Liner” by Kat Von D comes in a sleek packaging with a snap on lid. The packaging is black with the brand and product information written in silver on it. The design on the packaging consists of silver tattoo-like artwork of roses and stars. The tip of the eyeliner applicator is quite sharp and precise. We found that the product travels well because of the secure snap-on lid and its convenient size.

Texture:

The eyeliner has a liquid consistency and smooth texture.

Smell:

The product has a faint smell.

Colors Available and Color Tested:

This eyeliner is available in “Trooper Black” a deep black satin color and in “Mad Max Brown” a deep chocolate color. We tested the eyeliner in “Trooper Black.”

Effect:

The “Tattoo Liner” by Kat Von D was easy to use because of the applicator brush. However, like all brushes, this applicator might not be suitable for everyone. In fact, it is not designed like a soft flatline paint brush but is rather hard pointed and narrow which is perfect for a cat eye application but not great if it is your first eyeliner.
The eyeliner is highly pigmented and is a true dark. The product is also very shiny and does not provide a matte finish if that’s what you’re looking for. The “Tattoo Liner” has a good lasting power, but it does tend to fade to a grey-black color after a few hours. The eyeliner is non-transferable and smudge-proof.
However, we found that the “Tattoo Liner” dries instantly which is not ideal when attempting to perfect a cat eye. In fact, it was very difficult to neaten and adjust the eyeliner once applied, even by using a heavy-duty concealer.

Price:

The “Tattoo Liner” by Kat Von D retails at an official market price of $20/0.5mL which is a very good price compared to other products in the same range like the “Eyeliner Stylo” by Nars which sells at $28/0.7mL and the “Darkside Waterproof Gel Liner” by Anastasia Beverly Hills which retails at $18/0.3mL. The “Tattoo Liner” by Kat Von D is also cheaper than higher end products like Chanel Makeup’s “Signature de Chanel” $35/0.5mL.
