Buy NowThe Urban Decay “Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner” comes in a clear plastic tube with a gunmetal screw-on cap. A small bristle applicator is attached to the cap, and the applicator has a very fine tip. The product and brand information are printed in silver on the tube.
The texture of the eyeliner is smooth and gel-like.
This product doesn’t have any distinctive smell.
This glitter eyeliner is available in 19 shades that range from silver to green, pink, gold, blue and purple.
For best results, apply the liquid liner by moving from the applicator tip from your inner lash line on the eyelid towards the outer edge of the lash line. For a deep shine, apply a second layer.
We found the “The Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner” to be easy to apply. In fact, they glide on the eyelid almost effortlessly. The first layer is slightly translucent which gives a unique look. A second layer makes the eyeliner opaque which allows its color to pop more.
The product is very smooth, and it sticks to the eyelid easily which makes it smudge-proof. However, we found that it takes a while to dry the line drawn on the eyes which can be time consuming. But, after the “Heavy Metal Glitter Eyeliner” has set, the clear base of gel disappears and only the glitters remain on the eyelid. We wouldn’t recommend layering the eyeliner too much as the texture of the glitters is quite gritty.
Additionally, the drying time can be quite long so it’s best not to apply too thick of a layer. We recommend using a primer on the eyelids before applying the eyeliner as it can prevent the glitters from falling off throughout the day.
