The “Sheer Glow Foundation” by Nars Cosmetics comes in a sleek glass packaging that looks luxurious. As with all Nars products, the packaging is minimalistic with the brand information printed in black on the foundation bottle.
The product has a black matte screw on lid. However, the foundation does not come with a dispenser pump which makes it inconvenient to use and difficult to travel with.
This foundation is not too thick, it is rather on the runny side.
This product doesn’t have any particular smell.
The “Sheer Glow Foundation” comes in about 20 different shades to suit individuals with different skin tones.
Apply a small quantity of product onto a beauty sponge and blend-in the foundation on your clean face. In order to build coverage, repeat the process as neatly as possible.
The “Sheer Glow Foundation” by Nars Cosmetics leaves the skin looking smooth and adds a healthy glow to it. The finish is not completely matte, but it is not dewy either, instead the effects of the foundation are natural. The foundation offers medium to full coverage. This means that the product minimized the appearance of fine lines and blemishes and evened out the skin tone when only one layer of product applied.
However, when more than one layer of foundation was applied, the “Sheer Glow Foundation” tended to get cakey and patchy. We found that in cases when wearing more than one layer is desired, the product’s effects are maximized when it is worn with a primer. The foundation has a long-lasting power and can be worn all day without any touch-up.
The “Sheer Glow Foundation” by NARS Cosmetics retails at $47/30mL which is pricier than other products in the same range like Too Faced’s “Born This Way Foundation” which costs $39/30mL and Fenty Beauty’s “Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation” which sells at $35/32mL. It is even more expensive than other products in a different range such as Dior Makeup’s “Backstage Face & Body Foundation” which retails at $40/50mL.

It’s a great foundation, it has a sheer to medium coverage, sets nicely over the skin and it’s a great addition for the summer if you’re looking for something more natural or skin-like.

It’s a great foundation, it has a sheer to medium coverage, sets nicely over the skin and it’s a great addition for the summer if you’re looking for something more natural or skin-like. Keep in mind that you have to set it with powder. The only downside of this product is that you have to purchase the pump individually or else the application will turn out extremely messy.
