Application:
We used this product for 2 purposes: first to hide and cover up small blemishes such as red dots or pimples on the face and second under the eyes to give a glow and cover dark circles. Both are done before any foundation or powder is used on the face. To cover up blemishes, simply dot the area with the concealer and tap on it gently. We found that tapping the concealer into place makes it last longer and covered better than simply blending it out.
For dark circles, we drew medium length streaks on the base of the eye and tapped them outwards towards the ears. Again, we found that using fingertips works better than using a sponge or blending brush. On top, this product is the perfect consistency to be used as an eyeshadow base by putting 2 small dots inside the eyelid and blending it with your fingers
Effect:
Upon application, the concealer needs to be blended out immediately as it tends to dry up rather quickly which is due mainly to its texture yet it is this thickness that allows to cover up the darkest of circles and blemishes. Furthermore, the formula makes the product resistant to cracking, creasing and dryness. The concealer was worn for regular work days (around 9 hours) and did not need any touch up throughout the day. It left the skin bright and gave a natural glow to the face When used as an eyeshadow base, the concealer evened the eyelid color and allowed for a uniform shadow application. It also allowed bright and dark colors to pop out and stay put for a full day with very minimal creasing or cracking.

The retail price for the Superstay 24h Concealer is 15.5$/10ml which is a cheaper alternative compared to similar products such as NYX HD Studio Photogenic Concealer at 8$/3gr or L’Oréal Paris True Match Concealer that sells at 12$/5ml.

The problem with this product is that it dries the hell out of your skin, and turns orange throughout the day, plus the shade range is awful, if you don’t have a medium to medium light skin tone, it’s not going to work for you.

I like the coverage and use of the concealer and the shades really compliment my skin tone. However, I was disappointed with the way the concealer dries out and turns flakey and dry. While wearing it during the day, it creased to the point that it was actually cracking off my face. I tried to add moisturizing cream before applying since I do have dry skin which I thought might be the reason, but it didn’t really much help.
In general, I was very baffled with the results and I think Maybelline can do far better than that.

Comparing to the Fit Me concealer, this is tick providing not really a natural look and it dries very fast while cake-ing leaving wrinkles appear. I think it can suit people without really dark circles and wrinkles under their eyes.

I wouldn’t try this concealer ever again. It dries out very quickly, even if you distributed it right after application. It does NOT cover dark circles as it’s supposed to. And worst of all, it oxides terribly, leaving traces of gray streaks and dry patches around the eyes.

It was my concealer before i get to know about master fix concealer and fit me, it didn’t lasts and its hard to blend it moreover it sticks somehow under the eyes plus theres number 1 and 2 in it , the number 1 it fits more on highlighting under the eyes more than to be used as a concealer because its so bright

Yes I admit I used to love it more before. It was my concealer. But then I discovered the Fit Me and age rewind. They’re by far betterrrr. This one dries very quickly before I blend it so I had hard times with it.

I didnt love this product that much Its okay I used it to light under my eye only And it doesnt give cover or lasts
