When we tested the “24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel” by Benefit Cosmetics we found the brush easy to use. And the gel glided easily on the eyebrows and brushed them effectively. After application, the “24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel” made the eyebrows look fuller. In fact, the clear brow gel defined the eyebrows perfectly. They held their shape perfectly all day long and did not clump-up. The “24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel” did not irritate the skin neither under nor around the eyebrows. Additionally, it did not lead to undesired eyebrow hair growth. After a few applications, it became very easy for us to sculpt our eyebrows with the clear setting gel, even without a mirror. This is due to the unique brush-wand that is built-in. However, when we tried to use it with either powder or pencil eyebrow tints, the gel absorbed the tint which ended up smudging around the eyebrows. So, we would recommend using this product on its own only.
The “24-HR Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel” by Benefit Cosmetics retails at an average price of $24/7mL which is pricier than other products in a similar range like Anastasia Beverly Hills’ “Clear Brow Gel” which retails for $22/8.5mL and MAC Cosmetics’ “Brow Set” which sells at $19/8mL.
