Packaging:

The Matriskin Collagen M/P serum comes in a medium white cardboard box, with the name of the product written in large purple letters. On the box you’ll find the application advice for the product is included in several languages. The box contains a medium serum glass container as well as a package insert, detailing everything you need to know about the serum, the brand, etc. similarly to a product commonly found in pharmacies.
The glass container is brownish, see-through, and closed by a dark plastic and transparent rubber cap. The cap is actually a small pipette for application. It follows the same design as the cardboard box, with the name of the product in English and French in a purple font on a white label background, as well as directions for use in several languages.
The fact that it is glass doesn’t make it ideal for travel, but other than that it is quite simple and small.

Skin Type:

This serum is suitable for all skin types.

Texture and color:

This serum is aqueous and transparent, quite refreshing when applied on the skin. It can feel a bit oily on touch but dries almost immediately and doesn’t have any leftover effect or feeling.

Application:

The brand recommends applying a pipette-sized quantity of the serum on your entire face and neck, once a day. Skin needs to be cleaned prior to application. Make sure you cover the whole surface.

Smell:

The Collagen Serum doesn’t have a fragrance or added smell. It is quite neutral, although a bit chemical for a couple of seconds before it dries.

Effect:

The Collagen M/P Serum by Matriskin is a unique combination of active ingredients with instant and long-lasting effect, aimed to repair the dermal milieu, stimulate fibroblast growth and increase the synthesis of collagen.

The Collagen M/P Serum by Matriskin is priced at 127$ for 30ml. It is a bit more expensive than similar range Filorga’s Skin-Structure serum, priced at 101$/30ml. It is however much less expensive than La Mer’s Regenerating Serum, sold at 328$ for 30ml.
