This Caudalie VINE [ACTIV] Energizing and Smoothing eye cream is packaged in a green shiny cardboard box, where all the information is written. Once open, the box contains a typical soft cream container, the same green as the box, and with a hard silver top. The size is good and allows you to easily pack it for travel.

Skin Type:

This product is suitable for all skin types. However, if your skin is particularly irritated around your eyes and lips, we would recommend asking your dermatologist before using any cream or serum.

Texture:

The Caudalie eye cream is lightweight and sinks quickly into the skin.

Smell:

The smell of this eye cream is quite neutral and will not interact with other products you use daily.

Effect:

Apply the cream gently on your eyes and dark circles, as well as around your lips as advised by the brand. This cream is part of the VINE product line by Caudalie and uses RESVERATROL as an ingredient. It is said to be a powerful polyphenolic antioxidant found in red grapes and wine. The anti-oxidant aims to destroy the free radicals that cause premature aging, protect the skin from environmental damage and soothe redness and irritation. This cream is well suited for eyes and lips contours, where as we know, the skin is thinner and more sensitive. The effect is felt after at least of week of using the product in the morning and in before going to bed. The multiple effect of the cream is interesting as it acts as an anti-oxidant and also protects the skin from early wrinkles.

Price:

The eye cream is priced at 39$ for 15ml, which is a little less than Nuxuriance Ultra by NUXE, priced at 46$ for 15ml. Is it however, more than Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, priced at 29$ for 15ml.
