“Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick” by L’Oréal Paris is packaged in a compact rectangular tube. The tube is transparent, so its color is the same as the lipstick’s color. The lid is dark beige and it holds the applicator brush. The brush itself is teardrop-shaped which makes application easy. The finish of the packaging is matte.

This lipstick comes in 12 different “chocolate” shades which range from nude to dark cocoa and include a reddish brown.
Tested Color:
We tested the liquid lipstick in “Oh My Choc!” which is shade number 858.
The lipstick is highly pigmented and has a deep brown color.
Smell:
The “Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick” has an intense sweet chocolate aroma.
Texture:
This liquid lipstick has a thick and sticky consistency.
Effect:
When we tested the “Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick” by L’Oréal, we found it easy to apply because of the arrow-shaped design of the brush. The shade dries into a darker color than when it is first applied to the lips. So, only one layer of the lipstick was needed for coverage. As soon as the liquid lipstick was applied, it set on the lips with a slight shininess left. It took some time to dry out completely and mattify. So, the lips were a bit sticky at the beginning.
We were able to wear “Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Scented Liquid Lipstick” for a full day without needing to reapply it. In fact, the lipstick sustained drinking and eating without becoming caky or flaky. So, the lipstick is transfer-proof and has a very long wear. However, we noticed that if more than one layer is applied, the lipstick might become patchy throughout the day.
Price:
“Les Chocolats Ultra Matte Liquid Lipstick” by L’Oréal Paris retails at an average price of $15.6/7.6 mL which is comparable to other products in the same range such as Maybelline’s “SuperStay Matte Ink” which sell at $9.5/5 mL. However, it remains less pricy than products with similar effects in another range like Huda Beauty’s “Liquid Matte Lipstick” which retails at $20/5 mL.

I like the dose of cacao . So soft and nice colors suits my skin tone very well the texture is creamy and lasts all days. Its matt and not sticky The smell is like chocolate ( best smell ever)

What I love about this set of lipstick is that they’re both long-lasting and affordable. The colors are really nice and smell really good too! I think that the texture is a bit sticky at first but you accommodate to it as it dries. Nude colors also fade nicely! If you have chopped lips it might feel a little uncomfortable, but then again all matte liquid lipsticks would!

Very affordable, stunning matte liquid lipsticks. They surprisingly do not dry up or chap up your lips like you would expect alot of matte liquids to do. Creamy finish and long lasting if you put enough. Amazing drugstore product. And of course they smell amazingg!!!!!

Not sticky, does not exagerate the fine lines of your lips and is long lasting. I love it especially the ruby red shade. but you feel if you put a big quantity of it the finish of it looks a bit shiny/ glossy… it remains transferproof though

I like this lipstick its longlasting and veryy pigmented color set a long time on my lips my fav color is 864 and 862 and i mix with 848 to give a verry nice nude shade the only thing i did not like is the shine sometimes that takes time to be dry and mattte

first thing you should wait a little bit for the lipstick to dry so you can see the real color on your lips

I couldn’t get the rave about these. The colors are great. The matte finish is okay. Can definitely be worked around depending on what you apply before it or how you apply it. But I was completely thrown off by the stickiness of the finishing. Couldn’t wait to take it off! Wouldn’t consider repurchasing as it’s not an ‘easy’ product.

“I tried the Tasty Ruby (Red one). The color is honestly amazing as it’s very pigmented and only needs one layer for a full coverage. It smells so great, I couldn’t but feel like I had a chocolate bar balancing on my lips all day. It might feel sticky at first but it didn’t crack or flake even if it took some time to dry out. It might be transfer proof and really easy on the lips but one of the problems I encountered was that I couldn’t remove it easily. (It took me over 3 cotton pads of makeup remover).”

This is an awesome liquid lipstick! It literally lasts all day long! It doesn’t transfer to anything… doesn’t budge! It dries nicely to the lips but isn’t over drying. It has a matte finish and looks beautiful on my lips. The formula is amazing! This lipstick is very easy to apply and I love the applicator! It doesn’t go on patchy and the color evenly distributes all over the lips. This is a fantastic liquid lipstick and you can’t beat the price! I highly recommend it.

I just recieved my ounousa box yesterday and i couldn’t help but try this lipstick … first of all the smell is crazy it smells literally like chocolate i spent like few minutes smelling it !!! The texture of the lipstick is really thick and sticky and i loved the shade of chocolate i recieved … the lipstick is literally ultra matte and its long lasting i mean i cleaned my face and lips after yesterday’s dinner still i have some of the lipstick on … loved this product and im getting all the shades soon for sure ?

“It reminded me of my childhood when I used to pretend that the glue stick is my lipstick, same exact feeling!! It is very sticky I can not stop gluing my lips together. I got it in the colour candy man it doesn’t match my olive tanned skintone at all, made me look really sick. The smell is amazing, and its truly infallible. It glides on smoothly, one coat is enough to get full coverage. It is transfer free didn’t stain my coffee cup as i drink.Very hard to remove i had to scrub it of. It dried out my lips maybe a moisturizer prior to applying is a good idea. I will not recommend to a friend nor repurchase.”

I receive the lipstick yesterday and I tried it well it’s long lasting it’s formula easy to apply and the applicator is pretty but!! You will have that ugly stickiness feeling and it takes time to dry!!! And it’s soooooo hard to remove this lipstick :/

“I tried the Infallible Pro Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Dose of Cocoa #848 and fell in love with it ! This was one of the shades featured in the chocolate scented line although the Pro Matte line does have other shades that aren’t scented. The cocoa shade itself leans somewhat towards being more of a nude skin tone, but it is nice and doesn’t lean too warm for those who have neutral to cool skin tones but want a nude lip. The chocolate/cocoa scent is not super strong, pleasant enough and it does fade quickly once applied. The product goes on smooth, even, and opaque in one coat. It is creamy and has a bit of thickness to it, unlike some other liquid lipsticks. It’s not drying, and it seems to provide a slight bit of moisture to the lips. It dries within 1-2 minutes, but retains a slight bit of tackiness for the first hour or so. It feels comfortable all throughout the day. It’s doe foot applicator is soft and comfortable and gives an easy and exacting application. When eating or drinking, it remains on the lips well, just wearing away between the lips, but otherwise it does not fade or crack or come off the lips until you intentionally remove it.”
