The lip liner has a thin pencil-like shape. It is a mechanical liner with a retractable tip, which is practical as it avoids having to carry a sharpener in the make up bag. It has an average size, and a black cover that closes securely, and is therefore suitable for small handbags.
Available Colors:
This lipliner comes in 30 shades, and offers a wide variety of colors ranging from nude (like Swanly), to black (like Skully), and including blue (Satellite), green (Lemmy), and orange (A-Go-Go). These colors help create a simple, everyday look and an evening, bold, dramatic look as well, suitable for all skin tones and preferences. The color we tested is named Roxy, and has a deep purple color with a matte finish.
Effect:
These products are created by the tattoo artist and celebrity Kat Von D, and are cruelty free, and vegan. The lip liner’s texture is creamy, and glides very smoothly on the lips. It applies easily and blends well. Moreover, its pencil is precise enough to create a nice edge on the lips. However, make sure not to hold it too hard against your lips, to prevent it from breaking. The lipliner could be matched to your previously owned Everlasting liquid lipstick from Kat Von D, as it includes similar shades to the lipliner range. It can also be used on its own, as it is very well pigmented and has a nice finish. Lastly, it can be used as a base for other lipsticks as well. After we applied it, we noticed that it is water resistant. However, it will probably fade away after eating or drinking, and therefore will need a retouch. Moreover, it has no smell, making it suitable for sensitive people.
Price:
$18 on the official website of Kat Von D, which is expensive compared to other liners that are of the same size (0.26 ml). However, if you are looking to buy a lip liner that creates a nice finish, from a famous celebrity makeup line, this product might be suitable for you.

“This is one of the best lip liners I have ever tried. It’s so good that I actually use it as a lipstick and not just a lip liner. Colours are amazing, it’s long lasting and does not smudge but the only downside is that there isn’t enough product in the packaging and being like a pen where the tip is retractable makes it easier for it to break. One more thing, I find it a bit too pricey comparing to other products then again this is Kat Von D…”
