This is my favorite Naked palette of all time tied with the Naked Heat. The formula of Heat & Cherry far surpasses any previous Naked palette’s formula. The mattes blend like a dream. The shimmers and metallic-like finishes take some work to build up to get the best pigmentation, but I don’t mind that. I love that they stuck with the plastic packaging with this palette as well – over the velvet packaging. The shades stay on all day. There is a tiny bit of fallout with this palette, but it is easy to swipe away with a powder brush and does not stain the foundation underneath. I definitely recommend this palette if you are a lover of the Naked palettes!

Packaging:

The Cherry Palette has a beautiful packaging. It comes in the usual Urban Decay palette design; the front outside is crimson, embellished with a row of metallic cherries with a splash of color underneath, corresponding to each eyeshadow color inside. The word Naked, corresponding to the Urban Decay collection is written in large font from one end to the other. On the back, you’ll find a full description of the product, the name of the 12 eyeshadow shades. The inside includes a full-size mirror and double-sided brush, which is very practical if you’re putting on makeup outside of home. Overall, this palette is really very lovely, very feminine. It’s not very small so not ideal for the carry on.

Shades:

There are twelve available eyeshadow shades in this palette, all in the cherry pink theme: Hot Spot – ivory matte; Caution – soft neutral beige matte; Bang Bang – shimmering pink with gold shift and iridescent micro-sparkle; Feelz soft dusty rose matte; Juicy – soft warm peach; Turn On – pale metallic rose shimmer; Ambitious – metallic rose copper; Bing – deep mauve matte; Devilish – reddish plum matte; Young Love – metallic cranberry; Drunk Dial – deep metallic burgundy and Privacy – deep brownish-plum matte.

Application:

With an eyeshadow brush, apply the shade(s) you select to your eyelid, and softly blend the outer edges. You can mix shadows to create cream shadows with major staying power. Pro-tip: You can get creative with mattes! Load up and spray the brush with a setting spray for intensified finishes or graphic designs.

Effect:

The Naked Cherry Palette includes 12 new shades from Urban Decay, all within the cherry theme. It comprises of soft mattes and sizzling metallics, ranging from creamy ivory and shimmering rose gold to the most intense black cherry. Bing is a deep mauve matte that is right on trend and we can’t get enough of Drunk Dial, a shimmery metallic burgundy that takes smoky looks to a new level.
This shadow collection lives up to the expectations as the color doesn’t fade out. Each shade has a velvety texture, rich color and is easily blendable. We prefer these tints on blonds, but there are a few colors that look fabulous on brunettes, and let’s not even talk about redheads, it’s perfect for red headed divas. Let’s show some pink power this summer!

Price:

The Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette is priced at 65.7$ for 12 different shades. It is a little more expensive than similar range palettes, such as the Puppa Milano Make Up Stories Palette, priced at 47$ for 10 shades, and much more expensive than the Revlon Seductive Smokey Palette priced at 30$ for 12 shades.
