Packaging:
The Glam Bronze La Terra French Riviera by L’Oréal Paris comes in a golden brown round shaped plastic container with a transparent flip top lid with gold and brown writings printed on it. The packaging is considerably big compared to other products which makes it last long enough, but on the other hand is not very practical if you have a relatively small makeup pouch. Another negative thing about this packaging is that there is no built-in mirror in the lid which would have been much more practical to avoid carrying many items in your makeup bag. The product’s surface itself is embossed and shaped as sand ripples reminding us of the beach. Moreover, the product has a coconut smell to make us reminisce of tanning oil fragrances.
Texture:
This matte bronzer comes as a smooth compact powder and is very lightweight.
Application:
Just like any kind of bronzing powder, this product should be used with a brush for both bronzing and contouring the face. You may use a bigger brush if you wish to apply it to your body such as shoulders, arms and décolletage.
Effect:
This bronzing powder is created with silky micro pigments giving the effect of a soft and natural looking tan. The problem is that the 4 shades have an orange undertone which is better for tanned skin tones but does note suit light skin tones. Although highly pigmented, the product tends to start wearing off after a couple of hours so we recommend using a setting spray for a more long lasting effect.
It is matte which is great for all types of skin especially oily skin yet has some slight shimmer which is great for a soft glowy sun kissed look.
Upon testing this product we noticed it is a bit hard to blend so we recommend starting off with a small quantity then repeating the procedure as needed. If you start off with a large amount of the product, it might look smudgy. The product feels very lightweight and let’s your skin breathe as the brand claims. We also noticed that the product leaves a smooth velvety touch once applied.
Price:
The Glam Bronze La Terra officially sells at 25.2USD for a capacity of 18g which is comparable to other products in the same range like Pupa Milano’s “Desert Bronzing Powder” which retails at 25.3 USD per 35g, yet it is much more affordable than other high end bronzing powders such as Guerlain’s “Terracotta Bronzing Powder” retailing at 72 USD for 10g only. Judging by the product’s size, it’s price is considered reasonable.

this bronzer is actually the best i have ever used. i have been using it for 2 years its awesome. and it has a very soft smell that leaves you with scented cheeks. it blends easily with a soft shimmer lasting all day.

This bronzer is one of my favorite. Very lightweight

I highly recommend this bronzer especially for summers. Or if you love some sun kissed glowy skin for everyday. It’s one of the best drugstore bronzers. Color pigmentation is excellent. First it looked like matte but it had very little flecks of glitter which helped in giving a natural sun kissed glow.can be used for body also

It’s a great bronzer for a tanned skin. It applies and blends perfectly with the skin. It doesn’t stick to the foundation and if you’re applying it on top of a creamy contour it also doesn’t stick. So it’s definitely a great product. The only problem is the orange undertone. But it’s already summer so hello tanned skin and goodbye problem.
