We tested the “Anthelios Mist” on the face and neck. The spray has an extremely lightweight texture and was barely felt on the face. We tested this product on both: bare skin and over our make-up.
On bare skin, the sun-spray is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving any white residue. In fact, the product has an invisible matte finish. After application, the face did not feel sticky or oily. Additionally, we did not experience any redness or irritation.
When tested over make-up, the “Anthelios Mist” did not smudge the make-up or make the face sticky. It provided an easy solution for protection and it did not make the face feel sticky.
We would recommend using this sunscreen for on-the-go lifestyles. In fact, it fits in a handbag easily and can be applied over make-up to ensure sunscreen touch-ups and continued protection.
The “Anthelios Mist” retails at an average of $32.4/75 mL which is pricier than similar products like Soskin’s “Spray Solaire Tres Haute Protection SPF 50+” that sells at $19/125 mL and Bioderma’s “Photoderm MAX BRUME SOLAIRE SPF50+” which retails at $40/150 mL.
