The scrub comes in a 50ml small pot that is transparent, allowing you to see the product prior to purchase or usage but does not come with a spatula if you prefer not to contaminate the content with your fingers.
The product a very smooth buttery consistency.
To apply the scrub, we smoothed a small amount with dry fingers onto clean, dry skin and spreading it across all areas of the face while avoiding the eye area. We then massaged it wet fingers into the skin and rinsed the product away with warm water. We also applied a little bit of the product on our lips and scrubbed gently.
The product was used and tested for two weeks – three times a week.
Instantly we noticed the strong chocolate butter smell. The scrub is made of three naturally derived sugars (brown, blonde & white) that are paired with finely crushed Cocoa, luxurious coconut oil and rich cocoa butter which means that the scrubbing particles are actual real sugars that melt away during the massage process. This ensures that the exfoliation is not harsh at all and does not result in any redness or skin irritation.
After the first week of usage, we felt our skin baby soft, ridden of dirt and much less oily. It also felt much smoother and more hydrated given that it is rich in minerals.
As for the lips, the scrub was able to rid them of any dry patches without causing any additional dryness for a more overall glowing look.
The scrub retails for a price of 9$/50ml which is comparable to other scrubs such as Eucerin DermoPurifyer Scrub sold at 17$ for 100ml, but is little expensive comparing to Garnier Pure Active Fruit Eenergy Gel Scrub sold for 8$/150ml and Clean n Clear Morning Energy Daily Facial Scrub sold for 10$/150ml
