Effect:
We tried out this serum for a period of 2 weeks on dry skin. In terms of immediate effect, upon application, the serum instantly softened the skin and diminished the appearance of rough patches due to dryness. As a result of that, you can use beauty products over it without worrying about the appearance of cracks as they blend in with the skin, while dryness prevented that. In addition, the serum reduced the redness of dry skin within a few minutes. Thus, you wouldn’t need to conceal such condition with thick layers of foundation any longer.
Within two weeks of use, dryness marks began to diminish gradually and the surface of the skin became much softer as redness no longer transpired. It was equally remarkable how fine lines diminished, particularly on the forehead, thanks to the serum’s deep, hydrating effect.
Furthermore, we noticed the gradual decline in the skin’s susceptibility to external factors that once left a direct impact on it. For instance, exposure to wind used to aggravate skin redness and irritation, but this impact downscaled after applying this serum for two weeks.

I have been using this product for 3 months now to be able to review it and test it’s long term benefits.
I have received the 7.5mL sample bottle and it’s still has a little of it left (Can almost last me 3 more weeks) so this product does last, therefore I would say given the durability of a 30 mL bottle it wouldn’t be an outrageous investment.
The serum is not too light, not too thick when first handled. However, once you apply it to the skin it spreads easily, gets absorbed and feels so light. It has a very pleasant smell that feels like a hug in the morning. I use it after washing my face before my sunscreen and it really does minimize dryness irritation especially on my cheeks as I have combination skin and my cheeks tend to suffer from dry red patches.
I find it very useful since i’m on the light makeup side I don’t like to wear a lot of makeup other than a concealer and some blush for my complexion, and with this serum I don’t need to wear foundation which is very convenient for me.
However I was hoping it could do a better job at refining the fine lines on my forehead given the “relipidant actif” formula, but it didn’t do much work in that area. But when it comes to moisturizing, minimizing redness and protecting the skin, it’s really amazing!!
This is the first time I try a serum (always though they are for mature skins only) so I would try a few other day serums to compare before deciding if this is the one to go for, for good.

“I have been using this product for two weeks now , two times a day in the morning and at night. I suffer from a dry skin at this time of the year due to the weather. It worked great for me, it is an oil but wont leave your skin oily at the same time. The smell is actually pleasant and the product itself gets absorbed easily. I will definitely be using Matriskin serum to get through winter.”

“If I could give this serum 7 stars, I would. It just hydrates the skin like crazy and you need so little product to do it! A little goes a long way and it does wonders for the skin. My skin felt brighter and softer after applying this serum. I don’t know if I’d use it during the day, as it can be thick, so I recommend applying it before bed.”

I was using it alone at first but felt like it was a bit too oily for my skin type (mixed) so i use one drop now with my daily moisturizer and i love it! It gives a glow to the face even after you put foundation on.

“Although I have oily skin, I found that in the winter it provides me with a boost of hydration. It is light weight, nicely scented, and provides major hydration for my skin during the harsh cold weather. I would definitely re-purchase and recommend it to other skin care lovers. Although this may work for my oily skin in the winter, I do see it being too oily for the summer time. A little goes a LONG way, so don’t start slathering it on if you have oily skin!”

“For me that Serum works wonder! the Serum has a liquid formula and a pleasant smell. All you have to do is apply few drops BEFOR any other product both am and pm. This serum fit sensitive and dehydrated skin too, it’s aim to reduce redness. I notice an immediate effect on my skin starting from the first week of usage this serum. Especially in this weather my skin is very dry, I apply it once per day because you do not need to renew it during the day. “Packaging: glass bottle with a dropper thingy. ( not a lot of information on the bottle ) First thing I am going to say this. DO NOT EVER LET IT GO ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR EYES. EVER. ((I accidentally let some get into my eye and it was a long process removing the product , and burns a lot!!! )) so Be careful where to apply it. The product itself is soooo amazing! “I received the Matriskin RL/3 Serum in the sample size in a generous package from Ounousa Reviews to try and review. I have been using this for almost 3 weeks now and I can finally give you my final thoughts. Packaging: the product is essentially an oil which claims to rehydrate and rejuvinate the skin especially dry areas. It comes in a pump which I really like especially for oily formulas. It has a very pleasant scent which I thought resembles green tea. Experience: the oil glides on easily on the skin and gets absorbed really fast. It leaves my skin with a matte feeling even though it is an oil but in fact it provides the sensation of a blurring primer. I use it in my morning and night routine after cleansing my face. I have been suffering from harsh dry patches because of the weather and some white flakes around my nose so I decided to see if the serum will help with those. This is truly magical if you commit to it, my dry patches have considerably decreased and the white flakes around my nose have diminished. I have combo to oily skin especially in my t zone and it didn’t grease up my face at all. It gets absorbed within seconds and works perfectly in combination with any moisturizer and as a makeup base. “Having a combination-to- oily skin, I found that this product is somewhat more targeted towards people who have a mostly dry skin. The first time I used it, was at night after washing my face. My first impression of the serum was that it was somewhat not easily absorbed by the skin leaving an oily residue,but on the other side, had a very pleasant and low key fresh smell. On the other side, the next morning I woke up with a super hydrated skin, and no oily residue was noticed. The second time I decided to use it during the day before my makeup routine. This time, I used a very small amount of the product and slathered it all over the face. This time, The serum had a more pleasant feel. In general, it is a super hydrating serum, with a pleasant smell. I would say that it is suited for people with dry skin. Nevertheless, for people with a combination skin, I would say that using a veery small amount of the product (1-2 drops) on your face either during the day or the night would be just fine. Also, I would definitely be more comfortable using it during the colder months than during summer, since I would feel that it would make your face super oily when combined with high temperatures and humidity levels.”

“I am used to skin products routines since I was a kid! I have been introduced to serums trend recently though…I am not a big fan of serums in general because I get worried they won’t dry up fast and would mess up my makeup or my hair. This product is a great one with an amazing scent. It gives an amazing glow, but it does not dry up (my skin did not absorb it quickly), therefore I used one drop only for my whole face and upper neck, and that solved the issue. You can use it in the morning with your moisturizer before wearing your makeup, it will give a great glow and replace using a primer if you want, and of course for better results you apply it after cleaning your face at night, before heading to bed!”

I have a mixed texture of skin (its sometimes oily on the T zone) but the serum helped me to moisturize my skin and give it a glow and the brighter side no side effect on my skin

“I’d really give it 2.5 stars, I did like the product and it does give the skin luminosity and glow like it claims it does, it also smells very nice, but it’s just not for me. In general, I’m not a lover of serums but I did give this one a try. I have combination skin and I thought it made my face look too oily and my makeup too cakey. I thought I’m better off without it as I didn’t really see any improvement in my skin other than a fresh feeling at the moment you apply it, then it just feels too oily, greasy and a little heavy, I felt like it was just sitting there and my skin wasn’t absorbing well the product. Might work better for someone with dryer skin and/or redness/hyperpigmentation.”

“Having had acne problems in the past, I choose my face products very carefully and invest in choosing the best products i can find. To be honest, i had never used a serum in my skin care routine before. Before using this product, i researched it, read the ingredients list, and even consulted my dermatologist about it. I have always thought that washing cleansing, and moisturising my face twice a day would be enough. I didn’t really anticipate any added value from using a serum, until i tried the Matriskin RL/3 Serum. I even purchased the full size of the Matriskin Vitamin C serum(didn’t find the RL/3 one available) ! After only 2 weeks of use, this serum left my skin softer, smoother and believe it or not less red ! In the past, every time i would get a facial, the aesthetician would classify the redness in my skin as Rosacea and would give me clay masks and lotions to use at home which would improve my skin only as long as i kept using them. I would see a dermatologist and he/she would say the redness isn’t rosacea but from acne and would give me a face peeling medicine(which i always refused to use). This is the first time in my whole life where i have seen the redness at least 40% better in my skin and not red on and off, and i am so happy for that ! Sure it is on the more expensive side of facial products, but if you aren’t going to invest in the health of your skin, who is ?”

“out of all the products that come in the box this one was the best . I personally have dry skin and with the winter season my skin does gets extra dry . However, not anymore as this product is the literally the best serum I have ever tried all the ones that I have tried in the past felt greasy and not that effective. This one is actually hydrating and doesn’t feel greasy , but make sure you add the right amount as it is very rich and will spread a lot . The scent on this is actually nice .
