This cream is ophthalmologist and dermatologist tested and it is suitable for all skin types.
Texture:
The texture of Kiehl’s creamy eye treatment is a bit thick.
Smell:
The product is rich in avocado with a unique nutty smell which we found pleasant.
Effect:
When we heard about Kiehl’s hydrating eye cream and all of its countless reviews we were eager to try it for ourselves. Its main highly effective natural ingredient is avocado oil, a source of fatty-acid known to be the most soothing of any fruit oil. It also contains Shea butter and Beta-Carotene, very important for healthy skin. It has a creamy, thick combination that you pat under your eye and over all those thirsty areas you want to moisturize.
The good side is that it is very hydrating, but we think it would be too greasy for oily skin. The creamy sensation due to the avocado oil makes this product excellent for dry skin. It also works well on reducing fine lines. It does not treat dark circles though, so you wouldn’t notice a color change in the dark area but the skin would definitely look healthier and plumper.
We have tried this under eye cream before a makeup application and it really flattened out our skin and prevented the makeup from crumpling under the eyes.
Application:
It is a bit hard to spread but it does grip into the skin. Use a slight quantity on your finger and lightly pat the cream around your orbital bone. Avoid pulling the skin. The key is little small dots and the tapping gesture. This product can be used both day or night. The feel is a little bit odd almost a little gluey and this is not the kind of cream that will disappear into the skin, you will always see a thin layer of this on top but we like that. It almost acts as a barrier for the skin and makes the concealer slide off easier!

Kiehl’s creamy formulation is worth the price compared to the high level of vitamins it contains and its fine natural ingredients.

I have been using this eye cream for over 2 years. Very good product! it reduces the look of puffiness & fine lines and hydrate under eyes all day.

I have tried many undereye products and this is definitely my favorite so far! You just need to apply a small amount on your finger and tap it around your eye and the product sticks to your skin and doesn’t start dripping down your face like other products do. I apply it before I sleep and I always wake up feeling like my eyes look lighter and less puffy

This is my current favorite undereye cream, it helped me a lot with my dark circles problem. It leaves my undereye very hydrated, and i love that it has a lot of natural ingredients. Sometimes I use it as a mask for a stronger effect. And I also love it before makeup, it makes my concealer blend smoothly.

It dries fast before makeup, i really like it because u do not need too much from the cream to use, just applying a little bit and the concealer will be sticked forever under the eyes

In my opinion this is the best fast hydrating eye cream before makeup application because it immediately hydrates even the most dry under eye. I dont like it as an eye treatment because it will feel and look sticky all day long. But that stickiness helps the concealer to stick more. DONT APPLY TOO MUCH. you only need the slightest amount. And in my opinion the price is good considering a little bit goes a long way so it will last you a long time. I would rather use this at night as a hydrating mask for the under eyes and under makeup but definitely not day use.

“Your average eye cream thats overpriced. I have been using this for over 5 months and I haven’t felt like it was any special compared to other eye creams I’ve tried. The consistency is too thick and you’ll need to wait for awhile for it to set before you apply your makeup, so I don’t recommend using this during the day. I love how it can leave the skin looking glowy and hydrated but that’s all it does. Nothing really blew me away with this eyecream.”
