This product has a grainy texture and a creamy consistency.
The “Melting Body Scrub” by Nuxe has a nice smell.
This scrub is designed for all skin types.
While showering, apply the “Melting Body Scrub” by Nuxe to moist skin. Massage the scrub gently on the desired areas. If you are using it on your whole body, focus on the driest areas, like the knees and elbows. Rinse the product off thoroughly.
We tested the “Melting Body Scrub” by Nuxe on the entire body two times a week for two weeks. Because of its rich and creamy consistency, the scrub was easy to apply and spread on the body nicely. During application we did not experience any burning sensation on the skin. The product was easily rinsed from the skin without leaving any residue. Additionally, the “Melting Body Scrub” did not dry the skin like other scrubs tend to do. After rinsing, we felt that the legs and arms were softer.
However, the effect of the “Melting Body Scrub” by Nuxe was not very noticeable. Because of how gentle the scrub is, there was barely any exfoliating effect on the skin. In fact, the product did not rid the skin fully of dead skin. However, it did leave it silky smooth. Even after continuous application, we did not notice any major difference on the skin aside from it being smoother. Therefore, we would recommend this product for gentle weekly use but not for deep exfoliation.
The “Melting Body Scrub” by Nuxe officially retails at $19.7/200 mL which is cheaper than other products in a similar range like Caudalie’s “Crushed Cabernet Scrub” which retails at $38/150 mL and L’Occitane en Provence’s “Almond Delicious Paste” which sells at $44/207 mL.
