Buy NowThe Primer comes in an opaque black and nude 10ml tube with the name and color clearly stated. The wand is the same as a concealer applicator.
The primer comes in 2 shades: light/medium and medium/deep.
The primer has a creamy consistency that is easy to apply.
To use as a concealer primer, we drew medium length streaks on the base of the eye and tapped them outwards towards the ears using our fingers or a makeup sponge.
To use as an eyeshadow primer, we applied 3 dots on our eyelids & blended them using again our fingers or a makeup sponge.
An additional beauty tip: we wore it alone to help even out eyelid discoloration & under eye circles which makes it perfect for the no-makeup look.
Instantly, this dual-action power primer works its magic around the eyes to make both concealers and eyeshadows stay put.
For most of the time worn, the concealers we used on top of it did not crease and the eyeshadows maintained their vibrancy and did not smudge together. However, we felt that the more colors we add to the eye makeup, the harder it is for the product to be 100% effective: the eyeshadows become difficult to blend together after stay don’t stray. Also, the wand makes it hard to control the amount of product that comes out and so there are some risks of product waste.
Yet, the formula of this primer contains sodium hyaluronate which is a moisturizing ingredient and vitamins C & E that are known to help fight the signs of aging. We did not experience any irritation or redness upon application.
The Benefit Stay Don’t Stray Eyeshadow Primer retails at a price of 23.3$/10ml which is affordable compared to other similar products such as Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion at 32.5$/10ml or even NARS Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base at 40.8$/7ml.

Make up stays put all day and you can use it with no make up as an eye lid concealer. As a primer, it blends well and keeps eyeshadow in place all day.

This primer is amazing! All you need to do is set it with a powder and you’re good to go. Your eyeshadow will blend in a very smooth and easy way 🙂

This primer is one of the best in the market. The finishing is satiny and you don’t need to set it with powder. I use it as an eye primer, and I purchased it many many times. But, unfortunately, they discontinued the medium/deep shade, and I loved this shade cz it pops the eyeshadows and I used to wear it as my go to makeup without adding any eyeshadow as it conceals the veins and imperfections on the lids. The light one doesn’t do this job for my skin tone however it is perfect if you want to use it as an eyeshadow primer, since the brighter primers pop the colors of eyeshadows better than deeper shades.
