Curl Manifesto Refresh Absolu is a hair spray developed by Kerastase, especially designed to be used between showers to rejuvenate curly and very curly hair.
Packaging:This leave-in comes in a beige 190ml bottle with a sprayer. The design is simple on the bottom and have a large spray on the top without a cap. But in general, the packaging is practical for everyday use. We note that there is a travel size of this product with a size of 45 ml that comes in a different smaller design.
Texture:This product has a very light mist texture that does not weigh down the hair.
Scent:The Kérastase brand adapted an aromatic composition similar to all products of the Curl Manifesto collection, based on a mixture of the wonderful aroma of tuberose with the essence of frangipani flowers and white musk.
This mixture quickly gives a feeling of freshness and psychological comfort, especially as it overlaps with a touch of the delicious aroma of honey. And we noticed that the smell remains on the hair all day after spraying the spray.
This spray is designed to be applied between showers on dry hair. We applied it after two days of washing the hair. But we advise you to spray it from the center of the hair to the bottom and stay away from the roots to avoid the accumulation or any greasy effect after showering.
Effect:We tested this spray on curly, frizzy hair after it got dry after showering, along with the Bain Hydratation Douceur shampoo routine from the same range and Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition hair mask. These two products helped a lot in controlling hair waves and reducing frizz. But what we were looking for is a Leave-in that can be used after blow-drying to reduce the rough texture and appearance of tresses. Thus we found this result after we knew about Curl Manifesto Refresh Absolu Spray.
When we applied it for the first time, its fragrant that envelops the hair attracted us the most. It can even replace the application of any other hair perfume. Then we noticed that the spray moisturized the strands instantly and reduced their frizz, so the lint disappeared and the hair was better arranged, as if we applied hair mousse, but without weighing hair down as other styling products cause.
And because we wanted a product that really boosted curls in a tidy way, Refresh Absolu came up with just that. It improved the appearance of curly hair without causing them to fall out or flatten strands.
But according to our experience, it can be used for two days after showering only and then it is better to wash the hair, applying it for more than that can make the hair greasy and sticky even if it is dry or normal type. So you can count on it to revive your wavy hair during the two days after you shower, and then use the Curl Manifesto routine of shampoo and mask to deeply cleanse and moisturize.

I can’t stress enough about the beautiful smell of this product. I don’t use it to refresh my curls since I don’t have a curly hair, however I use it to refresh my hair and it helps with eliminating the frizz,
It is light weight, non-greasy, doesn’t leave oily residue on the hair, and helps me to hydrate my dry hair.

From a guy’s perspective with shorter hair, i would say the Kerastase creme de jour fondamentale is the way to go for a leave in that has a long lasting effect throughout the day. Not to say this one doesnt have an effect on the curls, it does. However, not as much.

I sprayed it on my roots and the tips of my hair, and it smells amazing without making it feel oily at all! I was afraid it’s gonna make it look oily, but on the contrary – it refreshed my hair and I received several comments that my hair smells really good.

This product was disappointing compared to the other products of the line.
i honestly didn’t see that much of difference using it vs using water (mixed with a leave in) to refresh my thick hair except for the amazing smell.
