Curl Manifesto range by Kérastase has especially created Bain Hydratation Douceur shampoo for damaged, curly and very curly hair, of all shades. It has been specifically designed to provide the necessary hydration to the strands and to define the shape of your tresses.
Packaging:
Kérastase uses the same packaging for all its shampoos, with the V-shaped design and the glossy silver cap that closes tightly. The color varies from one group to another, and for Curl Manifesto range, the brand chose the light beige shade.
Same as other packages, there is no pump in this shampoo, so be careful when using it, to not waste a big amount more than you need.
Texture:
This shampoo has a light creamy texture which allows it to be easily distributed over the hair, then rinsed out without leaving any trace of the product.
Application:
Wet your hair with water, then apply the shampoo and massage the scalp well to get rid of all the accumulations and buildups, then wash with water and repeat the application again.
We would advise you the following based on our experience: If your hair is very thick, which is common for women who have curly hair, divide it into two parts when washing it with the shampoo to make sure that the product reaches the scalp as it should for hair care and cleaning. After shampooing, it is best to complete your routine with the mask from the same range to improve the results.
Smell:
Bain Hydratation Douceur cannot but catches your senses with its soft floral scent that combines tuberose, floral frangipani and a touch of white musk. In addition to the smell of honey which is a primary ingredient in it.[/paragraph]Effect:
We tried this shampoo for a month on very curly hair, dry and frizzy, along with the “Curl Manifesto Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition Mask”.
During the first week, we noticed the most remarkable effect that this shampoo promises you of, which is hydration! The hair became less dry after washing it three times a week.
The curly strands gained more vitality and shine without overloading the hair. Also, combing the hair became easier for us after washing it, while we were suffering from severe tangles.
After two weeks of using the shampoo with the mask, frizzy locks were remarkably less visible, and their shape became more defined.
We did not notice the same result after using other shampoos designed for curly hair, thanks to the ingredients that this product adopts, which provide the strands with the necessary moisture, especially manuka honey and ceramides.
This shampoo with the mask actually helps to maintain the curls while beautifully shaping them, so that you do not need to add any other products to reach this result!

Nice shampoo with a nice smell but not worth the price point and does very little to enhance curls! Other products like cosmaline are for a much more affordable price and give better results!!
