Packaging:
The Kérastase Bain Extentioniste shampoo is packaged in a beautiful see-through green blue hard bottle, a color that is used for all of the Kérastase Extentioniste products.
The top is a very elegant two-coloured hard cap, green blue and silver on top, where the bottle opens. To apply product, you need to turn the bottle head down and squeeze. On the front of the bottle, you’ll find the name of the brand, the name of the product, and some of the benefits of the shampoo. On the back as usual, you can find the ingredients and the application advice.
It is quite large so not very practical for travelling, but it’s pretty enough to stand proudly on your shelf.
Hair type:
This shampoo is designed for slow growing hair with damaged lengths.
Texture:
The shampoo has a regular creamy texture.
Scent:
The Bain Extentioniste smells delicious and the scent lingers on your hair, leaving you feeling fresh all day.
Application:
Apply an amount the size of a quarter (not more!) of the Bain Extentioniste shampoo to wet hair. Massage through lengths and ends until lathered and then rinse thoroughly.
Effect:
Kérastase markets this shampoo for its length strengthening capabilities. It is designed to boost strong hair growth starting at the roots. It contains a fusion of Creatine and Ceramides with Taurine, an amino acid with a protective effect on the hair fibre to help ensure visibly healthy and stimulated scalp environment.
The brand also claims that the shampoo is able to lift away the build-up of dirt, impurities and excess oil from the scalp.
We found that the shampoo was efficient in terms of nursing back damaged hair to life and emphasizing its growth. And if your hair suffered due to excess coloring, the Bain Extentioniste will help to get damaged locks back on track and your scalp will feel much healthier.
The period of use needed before there is a notable change varies from person to person and depends on how damaged and weak the hair is before use. We believe it takes in average about 2 weeks of use before really noticing a change, especially in term of hair growth. Ideal treatment length is 3 months, with the corresponding conditioner, for a full effect.

Good product but you should use a conditioner afterwards because it dries your ends. Your hair feels fresh after using it

The shampoo worked well on my roots but it dried my hair ends , but using both mask and shampoo gave a better result.

I was given the opportunity to try the Kerastase Resistance Bain Extentioniste shampoo and conditioner, for I have a wavy curly a bit dry hair after all the mess that I have done it my hair from cutitng, coloring, crystal, keratin and hair straightener. I’ve been using this product for almost a month, didn’t get the chance to use it much but from what I’ve used it’s the fastest product in terms of seeing results on my hair.
My hair is noticeably better especially my brittle ends they seem very healthy and shiny, most importantly my hair is no longer breaking at length.
The smell is very nice and the shampoo is very foamy giving you a very fresh and clean feeling after use (unlike some greasy type of shampoos).
Would definitely go for the kerastase extentioniste gamme for my hair care!

I like how it makes my hair soft, smooth, healthy, smelling nice and given it a healthy scalp. It really does take care of my hair by nourishing it from roots to ends. – In the second part , it’s really important to talk about it effects…
In my opinion i wasn’t expecting a serious effect on my hair from the first 4 usages , but i can mention that this shampoo has given my hair a HEALTHY scalp and my hair is stronger than it used to be before using this shampoo .
Finally, i highly recommend this product for evey woman who needs her hair to be stronger and healthier.
And im definitely going to buy a new one .

When i used it for the first time i didn’t expect a quick result. I was really surprised.
The shampoo has a good smell, it refreshes the scalp and relieves the hair stangle… Your hair will breathe again.
I realise that it gives them a healthier way to grow. And my natural curls are back.
