Scrub Energisant from Kérastase is an exfoliating scrub designed for oily scalp to remove all residues and deposits, and reduce dandruff and oily secretions.
Packaging:
The scrub comes in a large blue package (250 ml), while the scrub which is designed for sensitive scalp from the same group comes in a green color. The cap is whit and it seals tightly. All what you need to know about the scrub are written in black on the package.
Texture:
Scrub Energisant has a gel texture that can be easily distributed all over your hair, and it turns into a foam upon contact with water.
Smell:
Kérastase combines two scents that complement each other beautifully in this scrub: the floral and aromatic marine notes, as the main ingredient in it is sea salt. It gives a refreshing and rejuvenating feeling.
Hair type:
Scrub Energisant is for an oily scalp that is often characterized by the following features: dandruff, itchy skin, oils and excess sebum at the roots of the hair. Hair in such conditions appears heavy and dull.
Application:
This scrub is a substitute for shampoo once a week. So to apply it, you first wet your hair well and then you need an amount equal to a piece of nut. Spread over the front, middle and sides. Then massage the scalp well (add water when needed to increase the lather).
After you finish massaging, rinse your hair with water to get rid of any exfoliation residue. Kérastase recommends that you apply the medicinal product that you usually use on the strands and ends of your hair afterwards.
Effect:
We tried this scrub on hair with an oily scalp that suffers from severe dandruff and constant itching due to the accumulation of sebum and oil secretions. We noticed the effect since the first use, after applying it and washing the hair, the scalp became really clean despite the use of many shampoos designated for oily hair. The dandruff almost completely disappeared after showering, and the scalp felt fresh and cooled, which greatly reduced itching. This is due to the effect of sea salt, which is able to remove all the accumulated secretions that blocks hair-breathing.
It is noteworthy that the effect of shampoo for oily hair improved after using this scrub once a week, because it cleans the previously exfoliated scalp that does not suffer from sediments that cover its pores.
However, it is necessary to regularly use the scrub weekly, because greasy hair by its nature re-secretes oils. Therefore, we recommend that you set a specific day for the use of the scrub, so that becomes a routine for you.
We also mention that after more than 3 uses of the scrub, we really started to notice a change not only in terms of the cleanliness of the scalp and its freshness, but the strands have become more vital due to the release of their roots from residues. The hair appeared thicker and less faded.

I have mixed feelings regarding this product. The product is very easy to use (apply a walnut-size amount and apply it and you scalp and start scrubbing) and it feels very refreshing on the scalp. The hair feels very soft and is voluminous afterwards.

The hair feels very soft and is voluminous afterwards. However, the next day, my scalp started itching me and my hair got oily quicker than usual. Tried this product 3 times to make sure of its effects. If you do not have an oily scalp, I would definitely recommend to you this product!

I really liked this scrub when mixing it with the “Huile Rafraichissante”. Its texture gives kinda massage to the scalp and at the same time it’s easily converted into smooth and bubbly texture. In addition to that, I loved the smell of freshness of the peppermint that sticks to the hair after the shower. Moreover I did realize that the oiliness has decreased and my hair looks healthier than ever. However, I felt some dryness after waching it, so I recommend using a conditioner afterwards. I would definitly recommend it (with the Huile Rafraichissante)

I really loved the hair scrub product because it gave my scalp the feeling of freshness due to the mint oil that is included in its formula it also decreased the oiliness and dandruff in my scalp which made my hair look healthier and it feels like that my hair is stronger than ever. What I noticed is that it is easy to wash away which made this product more convenient to my hair care routine.! Highly recommended!!

This is such an amazing and luxurious product
This scrub deeply cleanses the scalp and hair , it helps remove all build up other products and you only need to use a small amount .

I have been using it for 5 times already , with the refreshing oil , its like a detox for the hair. It leaves the hair fresh and free. With a very beautiful smell , it reduced the itchy. Thing ! tried it with the refreshing oil and first of all, a small amount can spread a lot covering all my scalp so the quantity in the scrub jar is sufficient for lots of uses. Secondly, the smell is to die for, minty and gives you this fresh feeling, just amazing. once I applied it I noticed a huge difference, since I have oily hair I noticed how much it reduced the oiliness yet it needs time to find greater results.

I tried the kerastase energising scrub with 3 drops of the refreshing scrub fusio oil as recommended. My hair and scalp feel fresh, clean and energized. The smell is amazing minty like.
I highly recommend it for people who have oily scalp. I am very satisfied with the quality of the product.

Hello,i tried the kerastase energising scrub in combination with the ginger fusio oil as a substitute to my shampoo.I used a small amount of this scrub comparing to a hazelnut with a few drops of the fusio oil,which covered my whole scalp.The smell was so refreshing and the result was immediate.The dandruff disappeared from my hair from my first trial,as well as my hair looks fuller,cleaner and less dull.The more u use the product,the better results are.So.i advice you to try this combination,it s easy to apply,time saver,cost effective with promising result for people suffering from oily skin and dandruff.

First i was afraid to try a scrub for my scalp and the idea for me was something weired, but when i tried it and felt the minty fresh sensation i was like OH MY GOD! I usually wash my hair 3-4 times per week because I have oily hair, I tried the kerastase energizing scrub and oil within the past two weeks and I obviously see an immediate improvement, i.e my hair is taking more time to get oily and it helped improving the oil secretion within my scalp. Let’s not forget to mention the refreshing sensation it gives since it has mint in it. I will definitely buy this product again.

I tried this product several times and I really loved it so far.

A minty experience like no other. One can feel in awe when using this scrub energissant along with a few drops of the oil fusio scrub from kerastase. I have an oily scalp/hair that obliges me to shower almost every day, and I have long hair always in need of caring. I’ve been using the scrub with a few drops of oil two times per week for over two weeks now and I can say that it made all the difference. From the first application and I’m seeing results. It’s a minty and refreshing experience recommended for anyone who has an oily scalp. This scrub removed all the impurities and dead skin leaving your hair pure and clean.

First i loved the fact that this comes in a big package compared to other trial products! Its the first time i use scrub on my hair and i loved the feeling it gave me! For a person suffering from oily hair and uncomfortable feeling on the scalp, I was very excited to try the scrub energisant from Kerastase. This scrub does everything it is supposed to do. My scalp felt way cleaner after only one use and that is probably because many particles and impurities that were removed by the scrub could not be removed by a regular shampoo. The product has vitamin B6 and salicylic acid to protect the scalp and prevent inflammatory issues. It should be applied, ideally once a week, on wet hair and massaged in circular motions to unclog the pores and provide 72% more volume after application in addition to the instant scalp detox from the very needed massage.
