Fusio-Scrub Huile Relaxante from Kérastase is an oil extracted from sandalwood designed to relax the scalp and relaxing your senses in general once applied.
Packaging:
There are 3 oils in the Fusio-Scrub range, each one is extracted from a different source. The adopted design is the same for the three, as the oil comes in a compact 50ml glass bottle. And it has a dropper that helps you get out the necessary amount of the product. This design is practical and easy to use.
Texture:
This product has a light, oil-based formula.
Smell:
Once you open the bottle, you can enjoy the refreshing and comfortable scent that distinguishes it. Kérastase has worked a lot on the oil’s fragrance to really help you relax.
Hair Type:
According to the brand, this oil can be used on any type of hair.
Application:
Fusio-Scrub Huile Relaxante is designed to be combined with one of Kérastase’s two types of hair scrubs: Scrub Apaisant that is suitable for all hair types, even sensitive scalps, and Scrub Energisant for oily scalp. You use the two scrubs once a week on wet hair instead of shampoo.
You put the amount of scrub you need first in any container and add drops of oil to it.
If your hair is normal to greasy, you need one to three drops of oil. If your hair type is normal to dry, you need three to six drops.
Mix the scrub with oil, then apply the mixture on the scalp, massage it well and rinse your hair with water.
It’s worth noting that this oil cannot be used alone or applied directly to the scalp.
Effect:
Exfoliating hair with Kérastase’s Fusio-Scrub provides you with a complete relaxation experience with this sandalwood oil extract. Its aromatic fragrance alone is able to relieve tension and the feeling of stress when smelled. And it lasts on the hair for a while after washing it, so you can smell it every time you move your hair or pass your fingers between its locks.
But this aspect is not the only thing that distinguishes the “Huile Relaxante”. When the oil is combined with the scrub, it gives a feeling of freshness and comfort to your scalp, even if it is irritated in few minutes, just as if you had a hair-massage session for your hair and scalp.

the droplet bottle used to accompany the mask is for adding a scent and relaxation while using the scrub. the sandalwood is highly appeasing and best used with the scrub as mentioned, where a few drops are enough to do its trick through the easy applicator (drops). surely, it’ll last for a long while. i recommend you use it as instructed and enjoy this self-pampering twice a month for relaxation and hair-buildup removal.

Usually I prefer not to use any kind of oils because I have a very thin hair but not the Fusio-Scrub Huile Relaxante.
Its smell is lovely and it keep my hair shiny but not greasy.
It makes a great combo with the scrub apaisant and would definitely recommend it 🙂

Personally I’m in love with this oil 😍 from the package and the smell, the texture wow it helps calm, and relaxing your hair really kerastase never fails to offer you the amazing result ❤️ they are always the best. How to use it : you have to mix 3 drops of oil with walnut size of amount of scrub apaisant then apply the mixture and massage the scalp in the end rinse thoroughly. Repeat it twice per week then you will see the best result. This oil is highly recommended.

I am personally obsessed with hair oil!
This one is used with the Fisio Scrub Apaisant! 3 drops are enough when applying it with the scrub !! It has a citrus smell to make your shower even more relaxing! I highly recommend it as it is a new experience to your hair care routine!! The post shower effect is great as the smell of the oil stays on your hair and makes it shinier😍

I liked the packaging and the smell. Actually I mixed the oil ( fusio-scrub )with the kerastase scrub apaisant, and I got perfect results. Honestly I avoid using oils since they make my hair greasy. But with this one, I didn’t face any of this. It became much easier for me to comb my hair and I enjoyed its smell on my hair the whole day.

Using this product was my first time ever applying a scalp oil, specifically in addition to a scalp scrub.
I used this product in addition to the KERASTASE SCRUB APAISANT, and I’m going to walk you through my experience!
First of all, I loved the packaging, it looks and feels fancy and you get a lot of product compared to how little you need for each application. The oil came in a separate small box, and this is something I really appreciate. I’d love to add that the color is also very soothing!
The instructions specify that you can use it once weekly mixed with the scrub to replace shampoo and that it is supposed to deeply cleanse your scalp without irritating it! This totally happened! Even after the first trial, I could feel that my hair was less “heavy”. If you have thick hair like mine, you’ll understand exactly what it feels like when your hair “weighs you down”. Well, even after one application of this mixture, I could already feel less heaviness, which lead me to cheat and use it twice in that same week haha!
I’ve used this product 4 times already, and each time I love the experience more than its precedent! The way I found it most practical to apply is: Before entering the shower, I take a small quantity of the scrub using any spoon (the size of a walnut as indicated), place it into a bowl (like the ones you might use for dyes). You can use your hands but I feel like it’s more hygienic to use a tool. Then I add 3-4 drops of this oil (check my review of the scrub as well) and mix them very well. After wetting my scalp properly, I start applying the mixture and massaging it into my scalp, adding water every now and then to ease the process. Make sure not to apply the scrub on the rest of your hair as it might tangle it a little. After a few minutes of massaging it, I rinse it very well and proceed to use my regular shampoo and conditioner only on the rest of my hair (excluding the scalp). My scalp usually does not get oily at all, so if you usually suffer from oiliness, I would advise you to gradually increase the amount of oil drops you add in order to avoid any discomfort later on. I feel like the oil made the scrub very smooth and left a general softness impression on my scalp! I also cheated and tried 2 drops of this oil alone without the scrub on my hair ends and rinsed it after a few minutes and felt that it later on made brushing my hair easier!
This is one of those expensive products that FEEL expensive and makes you realize it was worth every penny! It is very important to invest in good high-end hair care products just like we would in skin-care or make-up because you can really see and feel the difference!
After 4 trials, I feel like this scrub and oil combo really benefited my scalp and made it feel cleaner, less dry and smoother!
