Packaging:

The Blot & Go Dry Shampoo by Style Dry come in a small transparent box, and all the information is written on a cardboard included in the box.
The single use blotting papers have a great pocket size and are very lightweight, which makes them the perfect alternative for the dry shampoo bottle that might not always be easy to carry, especially if you have a small bag, or during travel.
There are 3 colors for the blotting papers, each for a different scent.

Scent:

You can choose between 3 options:
– Fragrance free (The pink blotting papers)
– Orange Blossom (The orange blotting papers)
– Coconut Breeze (The light green blotting papers)
We tried the coconut breeze, and it was really a breeze! A very light and refreshing scent that stays on the hair for a while after application.

Application:

It is very easy to use these blotting papers, all you need to do is to tear up the cover and dab the coated side onto the greasy hair areas. It won’t take more then a minute to have all the areas covered.

Effect:

The Blot & Go Dry Shampoo papers do well what they are meant for: soaking up the greasiness from hair. We tried it on oily hair, as well as normal hair after 2 days of washing. In both cases, the blotting papers absorbed the oil from the hair while distributing dry shampoo into the roots, without weighing down the hair.
Having tested other forms of dry shampoo, mainly in sprays, we can easily say that powdery residue was one of our main concerns, but the blotting papers did not leave any on the roots after application.
We also tried them on colored hair to see if they will have any effect on the color, but we couldn’t notice any.
We also loved the fact that this product is paraben and sulfate free which means it is not harsh on the hair and prevent color stripping.

Price:

The box with 11 blotting papers is sold for 11$.
If your hair is oily and you tend to wash it daily, you can use the blotting papers 5 days a week and limit the wash to 2 times. Then, you will need a box around each 2 weeks, which makes the budget 22$ per month. It is a reasonable budget to keep your hair vibrant and grease-free.
In comparison, the Nettle Dry shampoo by Klorane (150ml) is sold for 16.8$ and Vichy Dercos Nutrients Dry Shampoo (150ml) is sold for 19$.
If the bottle can last a month, then you are almost on the same budget for the blotting papers or the dry shampoo.
If you have a normal hair and tend to use less the blotting papers, then the box will last more.
