Effect:
We tested the “Secret D’Excellence” by Galenic on sensitive skin. After consistent use, we noticed that the product was very gentle on the skin. In fact, it did not cause any visible irritation or redness. After application, the product penetrated the skin instantly and had a matte finish. The “Secrect D’Excellence” made the skin feel much softer and smoother. It helped reduce visible signs of aging, especially around the eyes and mouth. The product did not feel sticky when applied, nor did it make the skin feel oily. Instead, the rich formula moisturized and hydrated the face and the neck deeply. This gave a glow to the face and made it look more radiant.
We also noticed that the “Secret D’Excellence” worked as an effective make-up primer. Overall, this cream feels very luxurious on the skin and with time it helps aging signs subside. Also, the neck looked tighter and brighter. However, for oily skin, we would recommend a cream with an even lighter texture that would also work on controlling the production of excess sebum.
Price:
The “Secret D’Excellence” by Galenic sells at an average market price of $122/50mL which is pricier compared to products in the same range like Matriskin’s “High Performance Cream” which retails at an average price of $111/50mL and Filorga’s “Hydra Filler” which sells at $90/50mL. It remains cheaper however, than La Mer’s “The Lifting and Firming Mask” which retails at $250/50ml.

I can’t afford to like this but i absolutely love it! the ‘secret’ was the way it smoothed out the lines as it contains silicone as an ingredient! the ingredient list is great for mature skin that’s kinda dry. I found it to be fitting as a makeup base! and it does hydrate well! it has all the ingredients to refresh dull and tired skin! i also like the bougie high end packaging. Would totally see myself splurging on this one!

“This applies beautifully, like silk on your skin. My skin is quite literally GLOWING, and it immediately sinks into your skin, so none of that sticky residue, or oily feel. As I am only 19 years old, and may I add, a 19 year old with some troublesome skin, I cannot give any say in its wrinkle smoothing effects, but can definitely say that it has helped my flares and acne. Its fragrance is pleasant, and I would recommend for sure. Regarding the price, it is most definitely on the pricey side, but if you are out to splurge, go for this!”

“I personally didn’t use the product after receiving it in the November box but I gave it to my mom and she loved it!! “GALENIC SECRET D’EXCELLENCE A moisturizing cream, it unifying skin tone increases the freshness of the skin and corrects signs of aging and reduces the appearance of aging. The packaging is super luxurious, which It come with transparent container. Formula of this product is super light with fresh smell and doesn’t sticky. I used this cream in the morning and in the evening by apply it to the face and neck. After consistent use of the “Secret D’Excellence” by Galenic. I notice that the product don’t cause any irritation on my sensitive skin and is very gentle. I used as a make-up primer, especially in winter my skin type is dry and sensitive. A small quantity is sufficient for face and neck too it easily extend and it deeply moisturized twice more than a moisturizer that I used before. My skin is softer than before. However, I did not know if it help to reduce visible signs of aging because I did not have any aging signs.”

“Although I have a sensitive skin, this product didn’t create any redness or allergies. It has a very light texture, and a very smooth smell. After 2 weeks of using it ,I feel that my skin is more hydrated and glowy. It takes 2 mins to dry and creat a matte finish not sticky at all. I use it both Am & PM after my Matriskin RL/3 serum which I will be reviewing next.”

“Packaging: The packaging is very nice, really elegant, the jar is so nice as well. very similar to a Clinique cream jar. The scent is very lightweight and it’s white. Application: I tested the product for a week, used an even quantity for almost a week, twice per day. once in the morning, second before going to bed. Cleanse the skin before using, make sure you don’t have any leftover makeup on your face. Impression: The cream is so nice, the texture is very light, silky and smooth. After multiple application, I noticed a change in my skin, it became more moisturized and very smooth. It reduced the dryness of my skin, gave it a little lift. now the changes aren’t drastic because I haven’t been using it for a long time. but for such short period I can say that I am really satisfied. I didn’t expect results so quickly. Loving it.”

The product’s packaging is pretty. The cream itself is lightweight and hydrating and smells good. But I don’t know why it made my skin breakout. I haven’t had a breakout in more than 6 months and I got two as soon as I started using this.

“I received SECRET D’EXCELLENCE THE CREAM by Galénic from Ounousa Reviews in the generous November box. This product has snow algae as its main ingredient which is capable of surviving in the harshest weather conditions. This element will interact with our skin and give it the ability to stay young and healthy and fight against aging factors. Also, it contains vitamins B3, E, and C which will brighten up your complexion, blurring agents which will provide a matte finish, hyaluronic acid and glycerin to moisturize your skin and keep it plumped. Packaging: I received this in the sample size but it looks just as flawless and fancy as the full-sized one. The product comes in a jar which looks luxurious and has a moderately thick consistency. It smells like a regular cream (not a fragrance or a strong perfume smell). Experience: I have combo skin which gets oily on my forehead and nose areas a lot and I was concerned that this would grease me up since it has a thick texture but surprisingly it did not. I applied this for around 3 weeks after the Matriskin RL/3 and it did an amazing job. I have been waking up in the morning with a silky feeling on my skin and I usually wake up with heavily oily face. It glides on so easily and keeps your face well-nourished even after hours of application. Also I have realized that my face has brightened up due to the Vitamin C effect (good commitment and routine application is required to reach such results). “Even right after my first usage of this product, I just knew that I will be adding a new product on my favorites list! Having used a range of skincare products for the past years (both commercial and medical), this is definitely one if the best! First, its lifhtwight texture is easily and readily absorbed by the skin, as the cream leaves a trail of a soft powdery and flowery smell. ( i actually had people compliment ne on the smell and ask me about it). Also, the cream gives the skin a subtle glow and a dose of hydration. Regarding its anti-wrinkle properties, I did not notice some since I do not have any (yet), but the plumping feeling is there! Definitely recommended!”

“I personally believe that it is very essential for a person , especially a female, to invest in their skin care routine. After using the Galenic Secret D’excellence cream multiple times, I found it to be very efficient as a moisturiser. It is very lightweight on the skin, pleasantly but subtly aromatic, easily spreadable and applied. It can be certainly used as a primer before makeup, because it does not contain any sunblock (which can interfere in the complete blending of cosmetic facial products). Although the product excellently moisturised and toned my skin, i didn’t really notice the firming and plumping effect of the product which is the core aim of its use. I believe that this cream is targeted for an older age bracket. Keeping in mind that i am 26 years old, i wouldn’t purchase this product (not now atleast), sure it moisturises well (isn’t that what all moisturisers are supposed to do ?) but for its price i would get a cream that is more targeted for my age, contains sunblock , and works on enhancing certain lacking features in my skin.”

The cream Is mean for people older than my age so my mum and I tried it together ! I would like to say that it did not irritate my sensitive skin and my mum didn’t experience any bad reaction . I felt like my skin looked more healthy somehow . However my mum doesn’t really have wrinkles but it definitely made her skin feel tighter and smoother ! I would definitely suggest that you try it out if you are within the age range stated on the box . !
