The scrub comes in a 50ml small pot that is transparent, allowing you to see the product prior to purchase or usage but does not come with a spatula if you prefer not to contaminate the content with your fingers.
The product has a light, gel-like consistency.
To apply the scrub, we smoothed a small amount with dry fingers onto clean, dry skin and spreading it across all areas of the face while avoiding the eye area. We then massaged it wet fingers into the skin and rinsed the product away with warm water. We also applied a little bit of the product on our lips and scrubbed gently. The product was used and tested for two weeks – three times a week.
Instantly, the product provides a warm feeling while it is massaged into the skin.
The scrub is made of three naturally derived sugars (brown, blonde & white) and enhanced with real Kiwi Seeds which means that the scrubbing particles are actual real sugars that melt away during the massage process. This ensure that the exfoliation is not harsh at all and does not result in any redness or skin irritation.
After the first week of usage, we felt our skin baby soft, ridden of dirt and much less oily. Our pores looked tighter, unclogged and less visible resulting in a relaxed, smooth and glowing skin.
As for the lips, the scrub was able to rid them of any dry patches without causing any additional dryness for a more overall glowing look.
The scrub retails for a price of 9$/50ml which is a bit on the high side compared to similar products such as Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Proofing Smoothing Scrub (7.25$/150ml) but cheaper than The Ultra-Delicate Exfoliating by La Roche Posay at 12$/50ml.
