Application:
Using a cotton pad/ball, apply the “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” on the face, eyes, and lips. After ensuring the face is cleansed, rinse off any product left or leave in overnight.
Effect:
We tested the “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” by Nuxe on sensitive skin for a week. After several uses, we noticed that the product cleanses the face well without needing a lot of scrubbing with the cotton pad. The product is very gentle on the skin and has an instant soothing effect. We also found that the “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” hydrated the skin very deeply. It nourished it and left it softer than before. Moreover, the skin was more radiant and looked less tired after each application. After washing the “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” off, we noticed that the product does not leave any residue and does not grease the face. We also did not need more than two pumps to cleanse the whole face. This makes the 200mL bottle last a long while. However, the “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” does not cleanse eye makeup as well as the rest of the face. Indeed, it was difficult to remove all the eye make-up using only this cleanser.
Price:
The “Comforting Cleansing Milk with Rose Petals” by Nuxe retails at an average market price of $15.7/200 mL. This is a good price compared to products in a similar range like Caudalie’s “Gentle Cleansing Milk” which retails at $28/200 mL. It is also cheaper than products in a different range, like Chanel’s “Le Lait: Anti-Pollution Cleansing Milk” which retails at $45/148 mL.
