Packaging:

The contour comes in a light gold 8.5g tube with the brand name and description on the front and is perfectly sized to fit any purse or travel bag hassle free.

Range:

The product only comes in one color only which is a bit limited.

Texture:

The foundation stick has a cream to powder texture that slides and blends on the skin easily.

Application:

To apply the product, we drew lines on the following areas: cheekbones, chin, forehead and nose and blended the whole with a makeup sponge.
We noticed that for some, this application method might not really work given that the product is highly pigmented and so another way to apply it would be to not draw lines directly on your face but instead picking up product with a stippling brush and stipple it on the desired areas of the face.

Effect:

The benefit of this stick is that the application takes 1-2 minutes, gives a very naturally sculpted look and allows you to easily define features in a soft matte finish.
The creamy texture allows the product to define the cheekbones and slim the look of the nose. The intensity can be built up given the high pigmentation for a harsher look.
Benefit Hoola sticks are more of a daily and convenient option which makes it a great choice for an on the go product application. Also, the product was worn for approximately 16 hours and lasted all day without greasing, caking or dragging on the skin.

Price:

The Benefit Hoola Quickie Contour Stick retails at a price of 40.7$/8.5g which is on the high side compared to other products such as L’Oréal Paris Infaillible Longwear Shaping Stick at 16.5$/9g or even Pacstick by Max Factor at 10.6$/9gr.
