Buy NowThe “Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation” by Benefit Cosmetics comes in a compact rectangular beige plastic bottle. While the body of the product is matte, the screw-on lid is a shiny fuchsia color. The product has a silver heart-eyed smiley face on it and the brand and product information are also printed in silver on the packaging.
The “Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation” is available in two sizes and two sets of shade offerings: the standard size offers 12 different shades that range from fair to dark. The mini size is offered only in 5 shades that also range from fair to dark. We tested this product in shade 3 which is a light and neutral tone.
The product has a liquid consistency and a lightweight texture.
The foundation has a strong alcohol smell.
Apply a small quantity of product onto a beauty sponge and blend-in the product onto a clean face. To build coverage, repeat the process as many times as desired.
The “Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation” by Benefit Cosmetics is easy to use and layer. The foundation eased dullness and evened out the skin tone. However, it did not hide skin imperfections well. In fact, the product is very lightweight and provides only light to medium coverage. The “Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation” had a natural finish and was transfer-proof. However, the product is not suitable for oily skin as it contains alcohol and tends to aggravate acne. Additionally, the foundation did not “blur” blemishes unless they were very minor. The product has a medium wearability and tends to oxidize and dissipate faster than other foundations.
The “Hello Happy Soft Blur Foundation” by Benefit Cosmetics is available in two sizes and prices: $29/30mL and $10/6mL which is cheaper than other similar products like Too Faced’s “Born This Way Foundation” which retails at $39/30mL and Tarte’s “Water Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15” wich sells at $39/30mL. It remains cheaper than other products in a different range like Tom Ford Beauty’s “Traceless Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15” which retails at $87/30mL.

This is one of my favorite Benefit products for a long time. I have oily/combination skin, and this foundation wears so beautifully and it’s very long-lasting.
