The best highlighter in the market

I have tried SO many highlighters (tarte, benefit, l’oreal…) and yet the Becca highlighters are still the best. They blend into the foundation and look natural and highlight the skin perfectly

If you’re looking for a summery glow all year long, this one is for you, the packaging is sleek and lovely, it lasts and feels good on the skin, but I do not recommend it if you have an extremely oily or textured skin.

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The “Sunlit Bronzer” by Becca comes in a circular brown and gold case that has the brand name engraved on it. The powder has a nice wave pattern on its surface. The product has a built-in mirror that is enough for application. However, it does not come with an applicator brush. The design is classy and the packaging is sturdy.

Colors Available and Color Tested:

The bronzer is available in five different shades: Maui Nights (rich bronze), Ipanema Sun (medium brown), Bronzed Bondi (medium amber), Capri Coast (warm golden-brown) and Bali Sands (warm golden-beige). We tested this product in Bali Sands.

Texture:

The bronzer has a silky powdery texture.

Scent:

The “Sunlit Bronzer” has no particular smell.

Application:

For a natural look, use an angled brush and apply the bronzer below the cheekbones and then around the borders of the face.

Effect:

The Becca “Sunlit Bronzer” was easy to apply and blended well with the foundation layer underneath. In fact, the product looked natural on the face and did not look orange. The bronzer is pigmented enough to require one layer of application. The product has some shimmeriness which is not overpowering at all. On the contrary, it helps with light reflection to give the skin a radiant glow. The “Sunlit Bronzer” feels very silky when applied to the skin and it gives a true sun-kissed finish. The product has a medium wearability, but it is not entirely transfer-proof. We found that for optimal results, it is best to apply it on top of a foundation or if you are not using a foundation, then a moisturizer base would also work.

Price:

The “Sunlit Bronzer” by Becca retails at an average price of $38/7.1g which is a bit pricier than other products in the same range like Nars’ “Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer” which retails at $40/8g and Benefit Cosmetics’ “Hoola Matte Bronzer” which sells at $30/8g. However, it remains cheaper than products in a different range like Givenchy’s “Healthy Glow & Body Bronzing Powder” which sells at $65/16g.
