The lid is screw-on which can be an issue when applying shampoo as it is difficult to close during a shower.
This shampoo is designed for fine/thin hair. We tested this shampoo on normal but thin hair.
The texture of the “Volumifique Bain Volume” shampoo by Kerastase is very creamy.
The shampoo has a fruity smell that lingers on the hair.
After testing the “Volumifique Bain Volume” we found that the shampoo plumped the hair and added some thickness to its texture making it feel heavier. The silky consistency of the “Volumifique Bain Volume” reflects on the hair after usage: the hair feels more nourished and hydrated.
We found that the best way to maximize the volumizing effects of this shampoo is to start by applying the product on dry hair and massage the shampoo onto the scalp to ensure that the roots are revitalized and then rinsing the hair with lukewarm to cold water.
The shampoo added a nice and noticeable glow to the hair and the hair looked healthier after consistent use for almost a week. The “Volumifique Bain Volume” is so gentle on the hair that we did not need to apply a conditioner after it. In fact, the texture of the shampoo allowed the hair to soften and it was easier to dry and style, and the roots were stronger and thicker.
However, because of the creamy nature of the product, the shampoo needs to be washed out of the hair and the scalp very thoroughly to ensure that there is no buildup which can cause itchiness.
The “Volumifique Bain Volume” sells at an average price of $26.9/250 mL which is pricier than Klorane’s “Shampoo with Papyrus Milk” $13/200 mL. Howerver, the Kerastase shampoo has a comparable price to Rene Furterer’s “Volumea Volumizing Shampoo” that retails at $26/200 mL.

This product helped my hair get more volume and become thicker. I use it with the conditioner and I got quick satisfying results.

Great product for increasing hair volume (used it with the Kerastase volumizing conditioner). Makes the hair a bit more voluminous and healthy-feeling.
The cons are probably that it doesn’t have a smell at all (i prefer smelling nice and fresh after a shower)
And also closing it is a bit tricky in the shower (so i ended up spilling some of it)
But it does work and improve the volume and texture of the hair so it is recommended

This shampoo worked very well on my hair, I’ve been using it for few weeks now. It added a little volume to my hair and made it feel healthier .I found the packaging luxurious however the screw-on lid is not practical because closing it in the shower is difficult after having poured shampoo into your hands.. I found the price a little bit expensive but worth it. I would recommend to use it on special occasions because it doesn’t last for more than two weeks especially for someone who washes her hair everyday after everyday’s training..
