Packaging:
The packaging of the bain is quite nice and elegant. It comes in a violet plastic bottle with a silver hard top. The highest part of the silver top is also violet, acting as a reminder of the color of the bottle. On the bottle, you will find the name of the product along with the important information, including the brand name. When you first open the shampoo, you will notice that Kerastase added a small security measure, like a flap, as to make sure it is sealed. This packaging is very luxurious but it is not the most practical for travel.
Texture and color:
It has a liquid creamy texture. When first poured, its color is shiny blue, but as soon as it comes in contact with the water, it turns violet, bringing us back to the name of the product, Ultra Violet. It is a little sticky in touch.
Scent:
The shampoo has a very nice flowery smell, but it fades after a while.
Application:
The brand recommends to wet hair then thoroughly remove excess water before applying a quarter-sized amount of shampoo touch by touch onto 5 key zones of the hair. Add water and emulsify. Leave it on between 2 to 5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
This shampoo can be used once to twice per week, along with a color protection shampoo.

The Kerastase Bain Ultra Violet is a shampoo developed specifically for blondes. The brand claims it will restore, gloss and shine blonde hair. Its deeply nourishing treatment boosts luminosity. The aim is to obtain lasting protection against brassy and yellow tones, while also shielding your hair against pollution and other external factors.
The main ingredients, Hyaluronic Acid and Edelweiss Flower, work in harmony to melt away dirt and excess oil and replenish hydration and are able to help you maintain a healthy, natural-looking shine. It is said the Bain Ultra Violet nourishes follicles from the inside out.
We observed noticeable improvement after a few times of repeated use on artificially blonde hair. The hair is obviously shinier, smoother and looks healthier and stronger. There is a clear invigoration of the color, in an almost luminous. We found this Kerastase shampoo for Blonde is a really good care for bleached hair. It upholds most of the brand’s promise.

This is a shampoo to solve your brassy blonds especially in the summer. with one use a week, you should get the result you expect with a colder blond.
remember that blond-removing shampoos tend to make your hair dryer, which is why a nourishing cream should be used in parallel, and it is the key of the masks.
It doesn’t lather as easily so it is best to use a different shampoo first to clean, then this one to correct the color, especially that it is a bit pricy.

All I am say it that it didn’t match my hair type, it dries out my hair alotttttt. It starts out well in the first two washes but then the blond color got darker after each wash and left my hair drier than ever

I have tried the product on my hair once every week over the period of three weeks, and here’s my opinion on the results:
Pros:
– The product helped in enhancing the color of the blond hair highlights and maintaining their glow
– The packaging was quite nice
– The fragrance was appealing
– The shampoo had a good texture
Cons:
– It unfortunately left my hair quite dry after every use.

The packaging is absolutely amazing. You’ll definitely fall in love with the beautiful purple colour and its flowery smell. This shampoo fades away any yellowish tone of your blond summer hair. It doesn’t foam too much as it doesn’t contain any chemicals or sulphate available on other shampoos so you’ll feel it doesn’t clean the hair very much so you’ll have to shampoo twice. It’s a bit pricey compared to other shampoos but definitely worth it. I love it

It has a very nice packaging
And its color is very shiny color and creamy texture
And unlike other shampoos it doesnt have a foamy texture with isn’t healthy for our hair
It has a very nice smell
When it comes to the effect i noticed it from the very first times i tried it. Perfect for my colored hair however its a little bit pricey but definitely worth itt!!

Very nice packaging, rich texture, great smell, cool color. I’m a natural blonde so can’t really give feedback on the highlight enhancements but I really feel that my hair looks healthier and shinier after using the shampoo 3 to 4 times. Should be used with the cicaflash mask/conditioner for a smoother feel.

I was surprised by the really nice color of the product and the shampoo. Magnificent and lively purple! The smell is really nice as well. It is really a pleasure to shower using it.
However, this color is a bit “sticky” as the skin around my nails was tainted blue after showering using this shampoo. Also, it is not the best for people with dry and tainted hair like mine. That is the main reason why I stoped using it now but I guess that it could be a good product for normal hair types.

First of all, The shampoo contains hyaluronic acid to repair and nourish the hair cuticle to prevent future breakage, and Edelweiss flower for added antioxidant protection from daily environmental damage. And it sure does what it claims to do.
I have used this Bain Ultra Violet shampoo couple of times now along with the hair mask and have been very happy with the result. I found it neutralized the unwanted yellow tones very effectively, making the colour closer to the original blond shade, whilst the grey hair became far less dull, resulting in the mixture of colours blending far better together. The packaging of course is luxurious and the smell is divine. I am very satisfied with this shampoo , it leaves the hair so hydrated, without yellow undertones and the blond color is vibrant. I have used yellow toning shampoos and conditioners before and never really liked the way they left my hair feeling coarse and dry. With Kerastase, the result was soft, shiny beautiful smelling hair without any of the unwanted yellow, brassy or dull tones. This will be my new hair collection as I really look forward to keep using it.

My hair is dyed blond with highlights that i do retouch every month. So my hair felt dull and dry for as long as you can imagine. Thanks again to Ounousa, i discovered this shampoo and have Been using it for a month now. First the Shampoo feels luxurious and it is not too liquid . The texture is nice and bit thicker than other shampoos. The fragrance is a soft flowery scent. A small amount goes a long way you don’t need much of the product. My hair feels hydrated unlike most violet treatments I’ve used before which left my hair very dry, and no more yucky orange or shiny streaks of blond in my hair. Just beautiful fresh blond hair. It’s like it neutralizes the colors and eliminates any other discoloration in the hair. I love this Blond Absolu ultraviolet line. I Totally Recommend it !

you dont need to put a big amount and you should leave it of 5 mins for better results after rinsing you can enjoy the beautiful smell and the bright shiny color

This is not the first time I use a silver shampoo for my entirely bleached hair. But, this product is beyond amazing.
1st of all: PACKAGING: BEAUTIFUL! Very elegant, and the lavender color is super attractive and intensely fresh. It has a hard silver cover with a lavender top as well. Once opened, you will notice that it is sealed to insure that this product is brand new.
2nd: TEXTURE AND COLOR: It has a dark purple color and has the same texture of a regular shampoo.
3rd: APPLICATION: This product is used as a regular shampoo, you should wet your hair first and then pour the amount needed depending on your hair length (use your palm to measure). Once you rub it onto your head, make sure that all the blond locks are covered with the shampoo. Leave it on for 3-5 mins, and then rinse your hair. I usually apply it twice in every shower and once per week.
4th: SMELL: It smells nice but the smell doesn’t linger.
5th: EFFECT: It has an automatic effect on the blond locks. It gets rid of the yellowness in the blond locks. It definitely restores gloss and shine as the company claims. It is absolutely a life saver in summer due to the excessive interaction with sun, heat and pools.
6th: PRICE: It retails for 26.7$/250 ml which is a bit expensive, however, it’s definitely worth the pay.
I truly love it and haven’t stopped using it since.

i have been used a similar product before first of all it doesnt give such result u should do 3 time to give the result that this shampoo did really without any exaggeration moree than amazing scd mine i used make my hair clumpy and dry this noo totalyyyyy third mine make my hand blue color i should wear a gloves and kerastase any blue color appear on my hand really very veryyyyy recomendedddd

First of all want to thank ounousa reviews for giving me the opportunity to try this product in the April boxthe blond absolu ultra violatwt shampoo from kerastase come in a pretty plastic violate bottle with a silver luxurious lid I’m in love with purple’s .
The shampoo is dark blue in color as soon as mixed with water turns purple .
The texture is liquidy and a bit sticky and for the smell its scent is flowery and not that powerful smell it fades away by time.
I use this shampoo as recommended two times per week and I really saw the result from the second use !!!!
I apply a little amount on my hands and rub them then apply to my blonde wet and clean hair and rub is gently it foams then I leave it for 3 min then rinse it then I used the mask as well
The result was a bomb!!!
I was so tired of my damaged bleached hair and wanted to go back to Brown becz after baths the bleached hair turns ugly yellow and dry one
With this shampoo and mask combination my hair is shiny smoother and healthier and no more yellow ugly tones no need to diy it every now and then to cover the yellow color
This shampoo saves u money and damage of saloons and hair color
For me it’s a big yes and it’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it rather than loosing ur hair for obtaining always the perfect blond!!!

I am ultimately happy that i had the chance with OUNOUSA to try these amazing products that I am in love with.
I’ve tried the Kerastase Bain Ultra Violet for 3 times now and from the first use I realized a huge difference in my hair color, it is more shiny with a less of yellow tones.
The smell is so refreshing and fade with time.
The brand advice to use it with the Kerastase Blond Absolu Cicaflash for more efficiency, and for a tip use this product in summer to help your hair to be more healthier and to protect it from the sun and the chemicals in pools.
As a conclusion, I recommend this product because my hair is shinier, smoother and way more stronger, and I believe that every blonde woman needs this treatment as a routine in her life.

I loved it. As a covered girl I faced till then lots of hair problems from dryness to other ones which is a bad thing for every girl. Thank you to Ounousa reviews for gicong me the chance to try this product. I really love the packaging and the smell of the product. When I first used it I was overwhelmed by the smell of it but then after drying it it’s faded away. This product made my hair I feel really soft nourished and silky. What I really like about this product also is that it does not cause a lot of bubbles once it’s on your hair which shows that it’s ingredients or more natural than other shampoos we see nowadays. I used the shampoo in combination with its conditioner. When I first rinse out the sample from my hair I feel like my hair is dry but then when I use the conditioner life comes right back to my hair. I used to have a very dry scalp but this helped a lot and hydrated my scalp because of the hyaluronic acid content present and the shampoo.
I am very happy with this product and I sure would purchase it again

The package’s color is a wonderful purple. I loved the smell and the texture of shampoo. The result is great on natural hair too. The only side effect is that it adds dryness to dry hair. My hair is normal to dry and curly. The shampoo made my hair more dry and frizzy. All in all the effect on color mentioned before is correct.

Let me say this straight , this has done miracles from the very first shower ! You can definitely feel the difference from one shower. The packaging is extremely luxurious i mean kerastase does it best literally ! I tried this in 2 methods , the first one is by giving it a shower directly when i am having a bath and as i said big difference! The 2nd one is by putting the shampoo on dry hair wait 15-20 mins and then shower and believe your highlights will be fresh as if you have done a toner in the salon , followed by the treatment that comes with it And i cant put thank ounousa team for the generous box !

I was very surprised by this shampoo, by its efficiency, its cleaning power but especially its texture. I loved everything about it from the packaging to the smell and milky texture of the product! As Usual with Kerastase you can’t go wrong. I have highlights, so my hair tends to feel a bit dry on its end, but after few utilization, i felt my hair stronger and silkier. Moreover, it does not entangle the hair as other shampoo do, on the contrary! It nourishes the hair well, and i was able to see an improvement after 3 shampoo; they are less dry, softer, silkier.

I am very pleased with the result. It helped tone my hair from the very first application. The best thing about it is that unlike any other “purple” product it does not dry your hair out. Recommended for refreshing your blonde hair and removing the brassy orange tones.

Since I have silver hair, the color fades after several washes leaving brassy yellow hair. So, I have tried many kinds of violet shampoos. Unlike this shampoo they all left my hair dry and easy to break. This shampoo left my hair brassless and soft at the same time as if I have done my hair in a famous salon.
