Scrub Apaisant from the “Fusio-Scrub” range by Kérastase is a soothing scrub especially formulated to soothe itchy scalp, reducing its dryness and scaling.
Packaging:
This scrub comes in a 250ml bottle. The brand adopted a simple design with a quiet green color. The cap of the scrub is white, and it is closed tightly. All essential information about its components and effects were noted in a black font on the container.
Texture:
The scrub has a lightweight gel texture, so you won’t have any trouble pulling it out of the box and it can be easily spread over your hair.
Smell:
The fragrance is soft and sweet. It combines the scent of citrus and musky amber.
Hair Type:
This scrub is suitable for all hair types according to Kérastase, but it has been especially formulated to those who have sensitive scalps that suffer from dryness and dandruff.
Application:
First of all, we mention that you can use Scrub Apaisant once per week as an alternative to shampoo. Once your hair is damp during the shower, you take an amount of scrub equivalent to the size of a walnut and you apply it on your scalp (the front of the hair, the middle and the sides). Massage the scalp, and add a little water from time to time to lather up the scrub. After massaging, rinse your hair very well with water, then apply the haircare product that you usually use for the strands and ends of the hair.
Effect:
We tried this scrub on sensitive scalps that are irritated and itchy due to dandruff. Since the first application, we have noticed a big difference in terms of reducing irritation and itching, just as its name “Scrub Apaisant” reflects. After the first usage, our hair didn’t feel hugely heavy as before, and this was due to the ability of this scrub to get rid of all the accumulated deposits caused by other products. But it’s worth mentioning that it is necessary to rinse the hair very well with water after completing the massage to avoid any residues of the peel.
Since Srub Apaisant is suitable for sensitive scalps, we have been using it once a week for a month before writing this review, alongside the shampoo which is especially designed for sensitive scalps that we used during the rest of the week.
The difference became more noticeable after using it continuously; dandruff became less visible due to the soothing scalp care, and the itch almost completely disappeared. This was reflected in the whole hair appearance, that appeared more vibrant, not faded and less heavy.
We also note that we also tried this scrub on normal hair and non-sensitive scalp, and the result was very good in terms of deeply cleaning the scalp and getting rid of all deposits. Within a month, the hair looked healthier and shinier after relieving all the heavy weight.

This scrub is gentle enough for my sensitive scalp but also deep cleans and scrubs away dead dry skin. I use this scrub twice a week and my scalp feels much more balanced and not as dry. Also my hair feels and looks healthier.

I’ve been using it for 3 weeks with the fusio oil scrub. The combination is perfect. It has a great and satisfying smell. Apply yhe scrub on the scalp and add 3 drops of the fusio oil then exfoliate gently. The result is noticeable as you can feel the freshness and healthiness of your hair as well as the cleanliness of the scalp especially if you have a sensitive one as mine. Kerastase brand never fails to amaze us.

I’ve been using this scrub as my shampoo for the past three weeks. Let’s start with the odor that gives a sense of relaxation. The ingredients of the product are both thick and smooth at the same time so it cleanses the scalp and keep it calmed down after the shower. This can be used with the fusio scrub oil for useful outcomes.
So this is another favorite from kerastase 🥰 never hesitate to Try💕

I have a sensitive scalp and this scrub isn’t harsh on it.
The scrub is infused with tiny micro beads that help exfoliate and remove any dead skin and rejuvenate your scalp so that it remains healthy and able to hold the moisture.
The scrub is gentle but does the job and it replaces the shampoo, I use it twice a week and so far loving the results I am getting. It’s got a lovely fragrance and a user-friendly packaging.

Just when it comes to the kerastase products always it surprised me because of the best result ever 🙈 Im in love 😍with this scrub apaisant it’s gel texture and the smell is amazing it doesn’t leave the hair greasy suits my sensitive scalp for a clean and healthy fresh hair. It can be used by mixing walnut size amount of scrub with 3 drops of oil then gently massage 💆 after that you have to rinse it thoroughly.
Really like it i highly recommend this product.

The best hair scrub that i have used. The smell is beautiful and refreshing. It doesn’t leave the hair greasy and the texture suits my sensitive scalp and protect it from irritation. I use it in combination with the relaxing hair oil from Kerastase. It leaves my scalp clean and fresh. You need a small quantity of the scrub to be mixed with the oil, meaning that the jar can last for a long time. I love itt !

Starting with the kerastase Scrub Apaisant, I would like to say that it was the first time I use a scrub for my hair. I liked the smell. So far I have used it 3 times, and I am so happy with the results. It’s a product to be used once per week since there is no need for more. The first obvious result I got is that it reduced the dandruff a lot. My hair had a layer of dandruff which doesn’t appear unless it’s scratched, so from the very first use, I noticed that this layer was taken off. Plus, I felt my hair became more fresh, cleaner and smoother. I highly recommend it for all purposes.
For the oil, I liked the packaging and the smell. Actually I mixed the oil ( fusio-scrub )with the scrub, and I got perfect results. Honestly I avoid using oils since they make my hair greasy. But with this one, I didn’t face any of this. It became much easier for me to comb my hair and I enjoyed its smell on my hair the whole day.

Using this product was my first time ever applying a scalp scrub and came with a lot of worries: will my extremely sensitive scalp tolerate it? Will it be sticky? Will it be impossible to remove? Will it be harder to brush my hair afterwards? And let me tell you, nothing of the sort happened! I’m going to walk you through my experience!
First of all, I loved the packaging, it looks and feels fancy and you get a lot of product compared to how little you need for each application. I would have loved for the scrub to come in a separate small box, but it’s not that big of an issue for me, as the quality of the product really makes up for it.
The instructions specify that you can use it once weekly to replace shampoo and that it is supposed to deeply cleanse your scalp without irritating it! This totally happened! Even after the first trial, I could feel that my hair was less “heavy”. If you have thick hair like mine, you’ll understand exactly what it feels like when your hair “weighs you down”. Well, even after one application of this scrub, I could already feel less heaviness, which lead me to cheat and use it twice in that same week haha!
I’ve used this product 4 times already, and each time I love the experience more than its precedent! The way I found it most practical to apply is: Before entering the shower, I take a small quantity of the scrub using any spoon (the size of a walnut as indicated), place it into a bowl (like the ones you might use for dyes). You can use your hands but I feel like it’s more hygienic to use a tool. Then I add 3-4 drops of the FUSIO-SCRUB HUILE RELAXANTE (check my review of the oil as well) and mix them very well. After wetting my scalp properly, I start applying the mixture and massaging it into my scalp, adding water every now and then to ease the process. Make sure not to apply the scrub on the rest of your hair as it might tangle it a little. After a few minutes of massaging it, I rinse it very well and proceed to use my regular shampoo and conditioner only on the rest of my hair (excluding the scalp).
This is one of those expensive products that FEEL expensive and makes you realize it was worth every penny! It is very important to invest in good high-end hair care products just like we would in skin-care or make-up because you can really see and feel the difference!
After 4 trials, I feel like this scrub and oil combo really benefited my scalp and made it feel cleaner, less dry and smoother!
You can find these products on Loolia Closet, it is a little pricey but totally worth it and I HIGHLY recommend that to join me and try this experience!

i have very sensitive skin, so when something tells they will make the uneasiness go away, i take it with a grain of salt. the 250 container of scrub was not covered though with the safety aluminum peel. i usually feel uneasy when i witness this.
however the product is gel-like and makes it easy to just scoop some without the need of a spoon. I added a few drops from the essential fragrance and lathered it onto my wet scalp. it didn’t make a quick foam, but it takes time.
it gave a feeling of super cleanliness, replacing the shampoo once a month as instructed.
yes, i felt i had no buildup in my hair, but do ensure to wash thoroughly and to use other shampoo on the length of the hair.
i enjoyed the product and will surely keep on doing the scrubs every 15 days, to ensure a good residue-removal.
