Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition is a mask for curly hair of all shades created by Kérastase Curl Manifesto range. It’s especially designed to nourish and treat damaged and brittle wavy strands of hair, as well as improving their appearance.
Packaging
:This mask comes in a nude 200ml bottle and it has the same design as all Kérastase’s hair masks, unless of the color that differs from a range to another.
There is also a travel size available with a capacity of 75ml. The elegant design distinguishes it among other products you may own.
Texture:
This mask has a creamy texture, easily absorbed by hair strands.
Smell:
Kérastase devotes a big attention to the smell of its products to offer you a real experience of luxury and relaxation. We were very impressed with the fragrance of this mask, which is also adopted in other Curl Manifesto products. It combines the scent of frangipani flower with jasmine and tuberose, as well as Manuka honey one of its main ingredients that dominates the smell.
Application:
Wet your hair with water and take a quantity of the mask with your hand, depending on the length and density of your hair, since there is not a standard amount that suits all hairstyle.
Spread the mask evenly between the strands using your fingers or a bristle brush. Then, massage the strands so that the mask becomes well absorbed by them all the way to the ends, and you can add a little water. Leave the mask on your hair for at least 5 minutes to get a light hair nourishment. You can increase the duration to up to 30 mins to boost the results and benefit from the treatment.
Once you finish, rinse your hair well with water.
If you are asking yourself how often you should use the mask per week, it depends on how much your hair needs nourishment, hydration and definition, as you can choose to apply it once per week or using it each time after shampooing your hair.
Effect:
If your hair is curly or very frizzy and you find it hard to manage it and take care of it at the roots, we totally understand you!
It is not easy to provide it with the necessary hydration and nutrition, especially when it is extremely thick and voluminous.
We have tried many masks made for this type of hair before, but we did not find the result that we were really looking for. But it seems that Kérastase has met that challenge.
When we used Masque Beurre Haute Nutrition for the first time, we were impressed by its quick ability to moisturize the hair, so it was less dry after drying and easier to style.
The secret is in its ingredients, since it contains manuka honey in addition to ceramides, which are considered ones of the most effective ingredients in this hair care routine.
But what we were looking for was not just hydration and ease of styling, but also getting rid of brittle and unruly hair. This effect began to appear specifically after the third week of use in combination with Bain Hydratation Douceur shampoo from the same range. We noticed that the strands became more defined and the waves were softer and shinier. This mask had an additional noticeable effect of protecting the hair from humidity, which helped a lot in reducing frizz.
We can say that within one month of use, this mask alongside with the shampoo made a huge transformation, so it is definitely worth the try and the consistent use to achieve your hair goals.

As a guy, my curls are not that long and I do not have the problem of frizz. The purpose for me is trying to get mild messy curls in contrast to well-defined ones. After leaving it in for approx 45 mins I noticed my hair was softer and my curls were slightly more defined, however, it wasn’t long-lasting in my case. I would say this works better on long hair.

So rich and moisturizing. I love leaving it for a few hours for soft, shiny and silky curls. It does not weight my hair down. I use it twice a week, it locked in moisture and prevented breakage. I am very pleased with this product and the smell is a bonus.
