    Good soin

I used this soin as a mask and left it for a few minutes on my hair. The texture is soft and creamy. Upon rising my hair, it immediately felt smoother and lighter. This soin also facilitates the brushing while drying the hair and slightly reduces frizziness.

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The Aura Botanica Soin Fondamental comes in a large maroon soft bottle, with a gold hard top. The shape of the bottle, up-side-down, with the bottle standing on its top, is perfect to optimise the use of the quantity you need in your hair routine. The Kerastase logo and name are present in white writing on the bottle, as well as information about the product, describing for example the type of hair it is appropriate for. The result is very elegant and this conditioner can stand proudly with your other hair products.

Hair type:

This Soin Fondamental is marketed for dull and devitalised hair, aiming to moisturize your hair and make it shine.

Texture:

Quite creamy in texture, it has a regular conditioner-like feel, although richer. Upon application, it is quite light on both the hands and the hair.

Scent:

Made from Moroccan argan oil and coconut oil from the island of Samoa, the conditioner has quite a nice smell. The scent isn’t too strong, which is good, meaning there’s little or none artificial scent added, confirming it’s all natural.

Application:

The advised way to use it is to apply to humid hair after your shampoo routine. Leave it up to 5 minutes for maximum benefit and then rinse off.

Effect:

The brand claims a revitalising action and frizz-fighting benefits. The use of oils seems like a good idea, because they have nourishing benefits and help give your hair enough smoothness to prevent tugging and dryness.

The result is that your hair is sustained, stronger and shinier. The anti-frizz action is effective, especially in hot and humid weather. Richer than a conditioner but lighter than a hair masque, the Aura Botanica Soin Fondamental results in easily detangled and very smooth hair.

This 97% natural origin moisturising conditioner does not contain any silicone.

Price:

The market price is around 39.9$ for a 200ml quantity. Compared to other similar luxe hair care products such as Klorane’s Rich Restorative Conditioner with Ylang-Ylang, priced at 20$ for 200ml, or the Biolage R.A.W. Nourish Conditioner priced around 25$ for 325ml, it is a bit expensive.
