Packaging:
The “Densifique Bain Densité” by Kérastase comes in a bulky container of 250mL. The design of the product is very minimalist. In fact, the container is white with black and silver inscriptions on it. The lid a silver colored screw-on which can be an issue when applying shampoo as it is difficult to close during a shower.
Hair Type:
This shampoo is designed for hair lacking density.
Texture:
Like almost all the Kérastase shampoos, the “Densifique Bain Densité” has a very creamy texture.
Scent:
The shampoo has a nice smell that lingers on the hair after application.
Effect:
The “Densifique Bain Densité” shampoo by Kérastase thickens the hair after a couple of applications only. The hair felt light but dense and looked healthier. We noticed that this shampoo strengthened the hair and nourished the scalp.
After a week of consistent use, we found that the hair had more volume to it and was bouncier. The “Densifique Bain Densité” revitalized the roots of the hair and densified its texture from the scalp.
As for most hair-volumizing shampoos, we recommend massaging a small amount of product on a dry scalp to revitalize the roots and then rinsing the hair. However, like most Kérastase shampoos, this product is very creamy and needs to be washed out of the hair and the scalp very thoroughly to ensure that there is no buildup which can cause itchiness and greasy-looking hair.
Price:
The “Densifique Bain Densité” shampoo by Kérastase retails at $26.9/250mL which is comparable to Phyto PhytoCyane Densifying Treatment Shampoo sold at 21$/200ml, but it’s pricier than other products with the same purpose like Klorane’s “Shampoo with Quinine and B Vitamins” which retails at $13/200mL.

This shampoo is so amazing. I love how my hair feels fresh and with so much volume.
My hair is so soft and feels so healthy after using this shampoo.
Before I discovered this shampoo my hair was so oily and damaged. highly recommended

Hair type: oily roots, dry ends. Straight, long, very fine hair. Lacking volume.
Pros: this shampoo smells super nice and didn’t make my hair any oilier.
Cons: I was really hoping it would add volume as it claims, but I didn’t feel like my hair changed much after using it, which is quite disappointing.

The pacakging is great and the smell of the products is sooo good. I had density problem issue with my hair but when using the Kerastase densifique shampoo and the mask my hair becomes more visible and has a volume beside it becomes soft and smooth. I recommend using this type of shampoo 👍

I’ve been using the kerastase “bain densite” for a month . I really really love this shampoo.It is a nourishing shampoo for dry hair and gives flat hair volume.

Highly recommend! I am loving it! Didn’t expect to like it that much. This shampoo is very gentle on the skin. I have very fine, thin straight hair and it doesn’t leave my scalp feeling greasy at all. It also doesn’t feel like it strips my scalp of all the moisture. I def -recommend
