I mostly like this product, it is buildable with a great color range to choose from. It blends well and lasts me the day with a few touch ups here and there.

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The “Born this Way Foundation” by Too Faced is packaged in a simple frosted glass bottle with a pump. The lid-top closes securely ensuring that the product travels leak-free.

Available Colors:

This foundation is available in 35 different shades that cover light, fair, medium and dark skin tones.

Texture:

The “Born this Way Foundation” is not very runny and has light consistency.

Smell:

This foundation has a nice smell that does not overpower.

Application:

For full coverage, use a foundation brush to apply the liquid foundation on the entirety of the face. Alternatively, for a natural look, apply the foundation with a blending sponge.

Effect:

We tested the “Born this Way Foundation” by Too Faced for a week for different looks. Every time the foundation was applied, it was almost undetectable. It not only offered medium to full coverage but also provided a priming base for the rest of the makeup. The foundation did not create a patchy look and it did not make the skin feel greasy. In fact, the foundation’s finish is matte, and it made the skin look radiant and healthy. The “Born this Way Foundation” covered blemishes and small age signs around the mouth and eyes. Additionally, the foundation did not clog the skin’s pores because of its oil-free formula. However, the product looks darker on the skin after drying. Therefore, it would be advisable to look at the swatches carefully at the store after the foundation has dried to make sure you get the right shade of color.

Price:

The “Born this Way Foundation” by Too Faced retails at an average price of $39/30mL which is fair compared to other products in the same range like Fenty Beauty’s “Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation” which sells at $34/23mL and MAC Cosmetic’s “Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15” which retails at $30/30mL. It is however, less expensive than other products in a different range like Giorgio Armani’s “Luminous Silk Foundation” which retails at $64/30mL and Lancôme’s “Teint Idole Ultra Longwear Foundation” which sells at $47/30mL.
