OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The Soskin Paris “Very High Protection SPF 50+” sun spray comes in a white container with inscriptions in dark grey and yellow on it. The bottle has a spray cap that allows for easy application on the skin.

Texture:

This spray has a light texture.

Scent:

The spray has a faint chemical smell that subsides a few moments after its applied to the skin.

Effect:

We tested the Soskin Paris “Very High Protection SPF50+” spray on the face, neck, and shoulders and on the rest of the body on three different beach days. The spray is extremely light in texture and is applied easily through the dispenser. The product did not leave any white residue on the skin and was absorbed fully just a few minutes after being applied. When the spray sets, the skin is not oily or sticky, instead it feels moisturized.

In terms of sun protection, this Soskin Paris “Very High Protection SPF50+” spray offers a broad spectrum of UVB-UVA protection and is dermatologically tested. Additionally, the skin felt soft and hydrated even after long beach days.

Soskin specifies that this sunscreen is waterproof, however, the brand also indicates that the sunscreen should be reapplied after every swim. For everyday protection this is fine, however, for a day at the beach reapplying after each swim can be a constraint, especially when the general recommended reapplication of sunscreens is every two hours.

Price:

The Soskin Paris sun guarding spray retails at $18.9/125 mL which is a good price compared to La Roche-Posay’s “Anthelios SPF 50+” spray sunscreen that sells at $35.9/143 mL and Filorga’s “UV-Bronze Body SPF50+” which sells at $40/150 mL.
