I got this micellar water by coincidence as i was heading out the store and realized they had an offer on it. I used to be very careless with my skin and would remove my makeup with just about anything. When i started using this, the game completely changed. The freshness you feel after cleaning your face with this is amazing. Other than that, the smell is fabulous. It makes you feel so soft and so tender. However after i finish using it, i used to moisturize my face because it tends to dry out a bit. But all in all, it’s a pretty good makeup remover!

It removes makeup easily even if it is water proof. Recommended to anyone with a combination skin as it refreshes the skin without leaving any oil trace on it

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The product comes in a see-through plastic bottle, signed KIKO Milano. Everything we need to know about the product is written in a straightforward matter and black font. The liquid is a very clear purple color (Normal to dry skin) or pink (Normal to combination skin).  It comes in 2 different sizes: 200ml and 400ml which makes it a little difficult to take on trips

Smell:

The product has a very faint smell which is not overwhelming at all.

Texture:

The texture of this liquid eye and mouth makeup remover is fresh and light

Skin Type Tested On:

The product was tested on combination skin.

Application:

To apply the product, pour the makeup remover on a regular cotton pad and apply to all areas of your face. To remove makeup and dirt, we had to press a little more than usual especially if using waterproof makeup. No rinsing needed post application.

Effect:

Upon application, the solution removes all traces of makeup but needs an extra push to do so for waterproof mascara. It can be used on different area such as the face, lips and eyes but we found that removing lipstick causes some smudging due to the pressure needed and might cause some dryness and chapping. At a deeper level, the product left the face feeling clean and refreshed. The micelles that are in the formula act like a magnet in attracting and retaining all impurities for a perfect and deep cleansing action. On top, this product cleanses as well smog i.e. all remnants of pollution which is perfect if you live in a highly polluted country or are exposed on the daily basis to fumes or pollution. Another minor downside would be the small oily feeling you can get post application which will require some hydrating cream afterwards to avoid any dryness of the skin at a later stage.

Price:

The retail price for the Kiko Pure Clean Micellar Biphase Water is 16.7$/200ml which is more affordable than other micellar waters like Avene micellar lotion and Galenic pure gentle micellar water that are both sold for 29$/200ml
