It is also quite big in size as it holds a capacity of 400 ml, so we advise you to go for the travel-size bottle in case you’re carrying it around with you on vacation.
Skin type:
According to Garnier, the Micellar Cleansing Water is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive.
Texture:
This make-up remover has a faint and pleasant smell.
Effect:
We tested the Micellar Cleansing Water for make-up removal and facial cleansing on normal skin over a period of one month. We noticed that it worked best on natural daily make-up looks as it was capable of wiping off foundation, eye shadow, and lipstick with great ease. In spite of that, you will have to scrub harder to remove waterproof makeup or mascara with this cleanser.
Moreover, you will need to use a fairly large amount of this cleanser on a heavy make-up look layered with foundation and powder. When we gave it a try after a night out, we needed around 15 saturated cotton balls to thoroughly wipe off our makeup. In this regard, Garnier claims that this 400 ml bottle is generous enough for 200 uses; which is not quite accurate since it is all about the thickness of your make-up.
Garnier also claims that there is no need to rinse your face after using the Micellar Cleansing Water. However, it still didn’t seem fully cleansed after make-up removal, so we followed up with another face wash to ensure deep cleansing and removal of all residue and impurities.
On another note, this cleanser does not cause any irritation if it comes in contact with the eyes.

The Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water retails at 7.30 USD / 400ml, a price close to that of other cleansers such as Neutrogena’s Deep Clean Purifying Micellar Cleansing Water which officially retails at 10.9 USD for a 354 ml capacity. In addition, Nivea’s Sensitive Caring Micellar Water retails at 8.6 USD for a 400 ml capacity.

I had to use this under some emergency. I can’ truly consider this to be the go-to product as it had to be washed after the use of the product, and i had to rub the eyes to make sure it cleans off the mascara and eyeliner. Although the bottle is large enough, but i felt it could be stronger for a Garnier.

I’ve already mentioned in previous posts how obsessed I am with micellar water. And Garnier’s micellar cleansing water is one of my favorites. It’s formulated to remove makeup and particles from the skin with no oil, alcohol or fragrance. It’s very effective that you don’t even have to rub the cotton pad harshly on your face.
The Garnier micellar cleansing water for sensitive skin is a must-have in my skincare routine and a product I cannot skip. I use it frequently throughout the day whenever I feel my skin is not clean and needs freshening up.
P.S: I often get my products for sensitive skin since my skin is acne prone and I can’t risk getting allergies from a product.
There’s only a minor detail that bothers me in the Garnier micellar cleansing water and it’s the not-so-pure scent. This detail, which I’m not used to in micellar waters, seems as if the micellar water contains some type of alcohol in it.

I got this product from Loolia closet, it is very good to remove makeup. But for waterproof makeup the one with oil is more effective but it is not good for oily skin. And always wash your face after using it.

I find it great for removing makeup soft on skin but u need to use many cotton pads with a lot of it to clean well and it leaves ur skin with a little shine and oil so u have to rinse ur face thats the only issue that why i gave ot 4 stars the price is great and the bottle is big

Gentle on the skin, removes light makeup. Not suitable for waterproof eye products. If you’re wearing heavy makeup u will need to double the amount. I wouldn’t bug again since there’s better alternatives out there

I use waterproof mascara and lots of eye shadow, liner, etc. This makeup remover takes care of it super quick. I love the way it gets rid of all traces of eye makeup, even waterproof, and then I can wash my face without worrying about leaving anything behind on my eyes. I’m loving this product! I rarely wear waterproof makeup, so this product does the job for me, the best thing about it that it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and it’s very affordable. Plus you don’t have to wash your face after, especially when you’re lazy :p it dries very fast and doesn’t leave the face with “greasy” feeling.

I usually use this micellar water to cleanse my face from my daily makeup. It is very light and water like, it can remove my face and eyes makeup when my make up is not heavy. However with heavy makeup I tend to use another make up remover with oil so that my face is easily cleansed. Im never convinced by the idea that a micellar water is to be left on the face and not washed. It contains surfactants so better always double cleansing with a face wash. As for the ingredients, they are fine and it does not contain bad alcohols or perfume which I find great for sensitive skin.
And as for the feeling it leaves on the skin, it gives my face a fresh nice feeling but as I said I always wash my face after micellar water.
It does not irritate my face or eyes which I find great.
It is considered affordable and I would recommend it and buy it again.

I tried this product out of curiosity to compare it with Bioderma, and I was shocked with the result. The first test I did was removing half of my face makeup with bioderma and the other half with Garnier, and I used same amount where i just needed on more soaked cotton for the side of Garnier. If we compare them according to the price tag Garnier wins. But I realized that on the eye makeup Bioderma is more gentle than Garnier, noting that I have extremely sensitive eyes, i felt a very slight irritation if accidentally I soak the cotton more than I should, but nothing major.
If you are more a drugstore type of a person go for Garnier, and if you are more a higher end type of a person go for Bioderma. Otherwise I can alternate between them.

Guys this is a must have in my daily routine. It removes all my makeup off and removes all eye makeup as well. great makeup remover, although it does takes some effort with heavy eye makeup. i have been using for quite a time for almost two years now, and it does the job properly. i do prefer this formula over the micellar cleansing water with oil ,who i feel is a little drying on the face. I liked it it really does remove makeup properly. Although it does require more effort to remove heavy eye makeup. It does sting a bit if the product is applied in excess amount on the eyes. “Such a great product. What I really love about it is that it is “”micellar water”” so it’s not harsh on the skin and suits all skin types. My skin is mild sensitive but it doesn’t break out or anything after I use this makeup remover. Instead, my skin feels fresher and definitely cleaner. It removes makeup so easily so you don’t need to scrub your skin harshly. It doesn’t work that well on waterproof makeup tho. You may need to put more product and scrub a bit harder. “What I love about this product is that it is very skin friendly: it suits all skin types.What people fear most is what if y face reacted to this product especially people with sensitive skin but let me tell you this. “It’s a good cleansing water for makeup, however, garnier were not frank as they said it could be used a lot. I used it for about 10 times and it’s now halfway through the end.
