The “Micellar Cleansing Water with Oil” has a watery oily texture.
Effect:
The oil-based micellar cleansing water has a slick and smooth formula: although it is infused with argan oil, it is not greasy and therefore glides nicely on the skin. We tested this product on normal skin with regular and waterproof makeup in order to assess the brand’s claims and we found them to be true: the product easily removed waterproof makeup without irritating the eyes or the skin. However, the “Micellar Cleansing Water with Oil” does leave some residue on the skin and we did feel the need to wash the face after using it. The product also left the skin, especially around the eyes deeply hydrated and very soft.
For oily skin, this product can add to the sebum released by the skin and make it even greasier. We would recommend this product for normal or mixed skin but not for oily skin. Also, the smell of this Garnier product was really overpowering and lingered even after washing the face, so we would not recommend it for anyone with any smell or fragrance sensitivities.
Price:
The “Micellar Cleansing Water with Oil” retails at $8.9/400 mL and the brand indicates that it lasts for up to 200 uses. Other micellar cleansing waters in the same range such as L’Oréal’s “Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser Waterproof” retail at $9.9/400 mL. Compared to Micellar waters on another scale such as Bioderma’s “Sensibio H20” which retails at $39/500 mL, the Garnier product offers some of the same qualities at a lower price.

This micellar water is the best makeup remover I have used. It removes even the toughest makeup – including lip and cheek tints and waterproof mascara – with minimal effort. My skin feels clean, free from impurities, with tightened pores and baby soft.

This product captures impurities like makeup residue & air dirt from the skin, due to the oils that work on dissolving all types of make-up.
It’s my favorite after a night out, as it leaves my skin perfectly cleansed & nourished. I used to find that makeup wipes were easier, but this one replaced them, as they caused my skin’s dryness.

the best way to use this product is to remove the mascara and waterproof products.

For a product that contains oil it’s amazing. It doesn’t leave an oily, greasy touch to the face after using it. It does, however, make your skin smooth. It removed my waterproof mascara effortlessly without scrubbing too hard. It also smells amazing.

Gentle eye makeup remover, slides very very smoothly without pulling on your skin. however waterproof mascara tends to be stubborn and you may need to use the product, wash your face, then reuse the product to completely remove any remaining mascara.

I like this micellar make up Remover especially for waterproof make up. I like its smell though some people may not like the fact that it’s smelly. It’s smooth and removes the waterproof make up fair enough. However I still prefer Garnier’s two phase eye make up Remover better (purple color).

“I purchased the travel size of this product at first to try it out and I really loved how it removes makeup through dissolving it. As for the eyes, I struggle a bit to remove mascara completely even though I don’t wear waterproof ones but it gets the job done at the end of the day. However, I personally preferred the Biphase Eye Makeup Remover from Garnier for the eyes since it completely removes any mascara residues.
