This foundation has a medium coverage… It’s very smooth on the skin and it dries fast, i like it for everyday use because it’s not heavy on the face and by the way i like its smell

This foundation is medium coverage, feels like skin and it dries satiny (not matte and not dewy). It compliments all skin types. I love that it is long wearing doesn’t collect in the lines or around the creases of the face. The shade range is great and inclusive most skin tones and undertones. The only cons that the package breaks and a bit tall so it doesn’t fit my drawers. As it oxidizes slightly like half shade darker. As for the price tag, is a little bit pricey. I recommend it

OUR EDITORIAL REVIEW

Packaging:

The foundation comes in a transparent and sleek 30ml glass bottle. It comes with a hygienic pump that provides more control with less waste of product. The size of the bottle also makes it perfect for your make up bag and travel friendly.

Color Range:

The product comes in 5 different shades from light beige to pinkish and to darker tones which allows it to cater to any skin color and complexion.

Skin Tested On:

We tested the foundation on a combination skin.

Texture:

The consistency is thin and liquidy but doesn’t feel watery or runny.

Application:

Before applying the foundation, we primed the face using a silicone makeup sponge. Then, we pumped a few dots of the Ultra Definition Foundation onto the cheeks, nose, chin, and forehead. Using our fingertips or a beauty blending sponge, we easily blended the lightweight foundation outwards towards the hairline and downwards towards the neck. No effort was needed and a small amount was enough to cover the whole face.
We also noticed that if we do not follow the above with a setting spray or finishing powder, the foundation could cling to patches of skin making the application of other products (such as blush and bronzer) more difficult. It also increases the chances of the formula becoming cakey throughout the day.

Effect:

The foundation instantly provides a lightweight coverage that is naturally a sheerer finish but it does build up easily to light-medium coverage that covers any natural redness, acne/post-acne marks, and evens out the skin tone overall. It is perfect as a go to everyday wear.
It feels like wearing nothing, yet it transforms your complexion: the skin looked natural, illuminated and bright with a luminous demi-matte finish. The foundation is loaded with nourishing ingredients: light-diffusing spheres – Matrixyl 3000 (a powerful anti-wrinkle peptide) – provide a visible reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, blurring imperfections for beautifully perfected, ultra defined skin and the antioxidant green tea and sodium hyaluronate cater for an optimal skin hydration and nutrient absorption.
Also, the product was worn for approximately 8 hours and lasted all day without greasing and faded out in a rather graceful manner without collecting in lines or oxidizing on the skin.
The only con is the chemical smell, but that dissipates in a matter of seconds and hasn’t caused an adverse reaction.

Price:

The foundation retails at 50.4$/30 ml which is on the high side compared to similar products such as L’Oréal Paris True Match Liquid Foundation 26$/30ml, Fenty Beauty Pro Filter Soft Matte Longwear Foundation retails at 34$/27ml or even NYX’s Total Control Drop Foundation at 14$/30ml.
