This lipstick comes in 10 different shades. While some are nude like the “Loyalist” or “Dreamer”, others are deeper in tone like “Pioneer”, and there are a few darker shades such as “Escapist” and “Believer.” We tested “Lover”, a deep rosewood shade
Texture:
Just as its name suggests, the lipstick is liquid, and it spread very easily, evenly, and smoothly on the lips. It is a but heavy upon initial application, but as soon as it dries, it blends in with the lips.
Scent:
The Maybelline “Super Stay Matte Ink” lipstick has a strong vanilla smell which can be overpowering to those with odor sensitivities.
Effect:
The lipstick is very easy to apply because of its texture and the arrow like application brush it comes with. The brush made it easy to draw the contour of the lips and then fill them. It takes a few seconds for the lipstick to dry and the color to sit and blend with the lips. We found the pigmentation to be high in the lipstick, so there was no need to apply more than one layer. The matte-finish is perfected because the lips look smooth and soft not grainy, which is what tends to happen with matte lipsticks. We were able to wear the “Super Stay Matte Lip Ink” for a full 8-hour work day without needing to be retouched. The lipstick sustained a full meal and a couple coffee breaks without smudging. Although it was not entirely transfer-proof, it was indeed very long-lasting just like the brand advertises it to be. The only struggle we had was with removing it because unlike other matte lipsticks, it blended so much with the lips almost sticking to them that it needed lipstick remover.
Price:
The “Super Stay Matte Lip Ink” retails at $9.49/0.17 fl.oz on the official Maybelline website. While the “Matte Lip Ink” is more expensive than the “Ultra Matte Lip” by Colour Pop which sells for $6.50/0.11oz, its effect is much more lasting and looks almost as a natural lip color while the “Ultra Matte Lip” needs retouching. Compared to the “Kylie Lip Kit” which retails at $29, we found the “Matte Lip Ink” to be longer lasting and much easier to apply.

After the huge fuss made about the Maybelline super stay liquid matt lipsticks, we decided to give it a try.
It is meant to give a flawless matt finish and Is available in different shades. It lasts up to 16 hours on the lips and is highly pigmented. We loved the pigmentation and texture, but what we would’ve preferred is for the lipstick to have a hydrating effect. It is understandable that, usually, matt lipstick acannot be very hydrating to the lips, but with Maybelline’s constant search for new and innovative formulas, we believe that it can be possible.
The lipstick needs some effort to remove with any makeup remover, so give their own makeup remover a try!

Nothing will move this lipstick from your lips when you apply it. Nothing (not even micellar water, lol). I bought this lipstick in a hurry before a meeting, I just needed anything and it’s the first thing I found. And I really did not expect to like it that much! The texture is amazing! It’s super long lasting without being sticky or bothersome! Both the nude colors and very dark colors are super pigmented and will not transfer or wear off throughout the day! I HIGHLY recommend the shade “Seductress” if you’re looking for the perfect everyday nude!

it’s long lasting with a very bad dry look on the lips, it doesn’t have a comfortable feeling on the lips it’s like plastic honestly… the weird part is that, this lipstick will become very fix only after licking it and i dunno why, and after 30 minutes i felt like plz i need to give oxygene to my lips and remove this glue sticky product, and here is the most hard part, ohhh myyy god, i started rubbing my lips so hard to take it off even with oil makeup remover and it was a very bad experience.

I have the shade “Voyager” it’s more of deep purplish color , it stays like forever and it’s soft on the lips , it’s not sticky ( most important thing), i highly recommend this lipstick.

I recieved this lip ink from ounousa and loolia closet.
The package is simple and i love it.
The smell of the product vanilla amazing smell tasty.
The texture is liquid very easily to spread but it is a little bit sticky
The applicator it helps you easily to put the lip. Ink on lips
I am in love with the super stay matte ink. It lasts for 8 hours and with eating and drinking it fade a little bit in the middle you can retouch it.
And you cant remove it easily with water or simple makeup remover. It needs a waterproof makeup remover.
I have the shade 65(seductress).

This lipstick is life. I had it on for 8 hours and it didn’t fade not 1% even. The brush is easy to apply with, it’s a liquid kind of lipstick, I spread it on my lips and it took about 5 seconds to dry. After it dries, the lipstick doesn’t move from its place unless you remove it with a makeup remover. I went out, ate a lot of things with sauce that makes your mouth a mess, and went back home and it was still on point. It’s highly recommended ❤️

Tried the pioneer shade, it’s a very nice strong shade that is red with hints of deep dark fushia. It is more suitable for events rather than everyday use.
Application: smells like vanilla but it’s a pleasant smell for a lipstick, I usually don’t like lipstick smells but this one is relatively nice. It’s smooth and easy to apply however the pigment is very potent so it stains better apply it little by little. And better fix it’s shape before it dries and sticks. Just like any long lasting lipstick it does feel a bit sticky throughout the day but it’s not annoying and i noticed it because I’m not used to wearing much lipstick.
Lasting: The color LASTS! It passed the wiping test the eating and drinking test and it’s still there, impeccable. It is easily removed by a waterproof makeup remover but leaves a tint to the lips that carries on to the next day. I actually really like the tint it left as it gives a very natural color. That way you can wear your lipstick for the evening and look fabulous and have a nice tint the following day that gives you a no makeup makeup look.
Whenever i choose lipstick i go for a long lasting one in a nude color but have never tried the Maybelline range. I would definitely like to try other shades of this lipstick.

This lipstick is really super stay, it has a natural color on the lips and once you put it on it will last all day long. It is really effective to have a lipstick and wear it once only per day since it lasts. The shade is really natural and for a simple everyday look, goes with simple, classic, and elegant looks!

shade: 65 seductress (a brownish pinkish nude color that compliments different skin tones)
Packaging: it comes in a plastic opaque container by which the shade of the lipstick is represented by the color of the container.
The doe foot applicator is pointy, and helps in defining and lining the lips without using a lip pencil, which is my favorite applicators for liquid lipsticks.
The product smells like Vanilla, however it is not very overpowering and doesn’t linger at all. One more positive feature that It doesn’t have any chemical smell like other liquid lip stains.
It is not sticky or drying. It is very pigmented and layers evenly and effortlessly on the lips. However, It feels slightly heavy on the lips. It takes a moment to dry but when it dries down it dries matte and it is very very long lasting, whether you drink or eat it stays.
Two little downsides, first that you feel it on your lips, it is not sticky but a little bit tacky. Second, it is so hard to remove it, but you can overcome it by applying lip balm over it, wait for 30 seconds to soak and then it will be very easy to remove.
It performs as beautiful as high end lipsticks, I do really recommend it.

The lipstick is so dry
It comes in a tube where u can see the shade and color of the lipstick from outside
The applicator is pretty good to use and easy to apply
The scent of this product is powerful
For application as soon as u put it it takes time to dry and it’s sticky like u have glue on ur lips
I couldn’t wait for more than our because it was uncomfortable to have this on my lips the red color stained my lips and it so hard to remove it need an oily based makeup remover and need to rub so much
I don’t recommend it maybe the us edition is better than our edition I don’t know

It stays sticky even after it drys, and after a while it will start wearing out which looks so cheap and unhealthy.
on the other hand, it is waterproof, and it is affordable so it’s good if you’re on a budget and you don’t mind feeling like there’s a plastic layer on your lips for a while just to look good 😉

I do not recommend this lipstick since it is thick and sticky.
As mentioned in the other reviews, it is very hard to remove and can easily dehydrate your lips
The color shades are nice though!

This is a very comfortable matte lip ink. I dont put too much or it will feel sticky. And yes it’s not completely matte but that’s what’s good about it. It wont crack and peel. It’s like having lipstick on but a long lasting one. I love mixing them in with other mattes because the others are very dry and maybelline isnt dry….so this combo is perfect for those ultra dry lipsticks. And #10 is my go to for mixing with brown colors. It just gives the perfect nudes. I love it.

“Couple of months ago, i bought this lipstick with 4 shades and actually i did not like it. Once you apply it you feel that there is something thick on your lips .and when you est it becomes gone in the middle which creates an annoying look.But the only positive thing is that at the edges of the lips it remains and does not fade or move.I do not recommend it”

I love the color and its a long lasting (i cant even remove it with the bioderma or the garnier micellar water) but its a very sticky one i rarely applied it beacause of this when i close my mouth my lios wil stick on each others.

“Super stay lipstick of maybelline is indeed a super stay. It is very longlasting however it isn’t lightweight. Once you apply it to your lips,and you join your lips together they stick. I never liked this sticky feeling. It reminds me that i got lipstick on. As I said it is not lightweight and it is very drying (yes I know it is matte but there are matte lipstick that are better). One thing I didn’t like too was that it showed the cracks in my life very prominently ! It doesnt give that smooth effect that I get once I used other lipsticks. In addition to the fact that sometimes the inside of my lips where my lips meet the saliva, the lipstick goes and that is normal. However in this maybelline lipstick the lipstick starts to go off as small particles. Reminds of the black face mask. At one point it is disgusting. BUT I LOVE THEIR COLOR VARIATION AND HOW THICK THE FORMULA IS. I just wish the texture was more developed.”

“It looks great, all shades last very long. Non-expensive and a great dupe to high-end products. It does dry out the lips and cracks if you apply too much, so be careful not to, a small amount goes a long way. The vampy red shade “”Voyager”” is by far my favorite!”

“I personally think that liquid matte lipsticks are a trend that will never go away… And having at least one is a must! I have the dark burgundy one, because my skin is extremely white. “This lipstick is beyond amazing! It’s literally super staying & long-lasting ( even after a meal) – I was surprised with the results. The texture seems to be a bit heavy when you first apply the lipstick but after 20 seconds it dries out completely and stays perfectly without leaving your lips chapped or sticky like other matte lipsticks would do. I loved the applicator brush, it comes in a pierced arrow shape, allowing you to precisely contour your mouth with the perfect amount of lipstick… don’t be afraid to add more layers if you need it. I tried the “”Dreamer”” shade, the color looked a bit bright on my face at first but after it dried up it blended with my natural lip tone. It’s non-transferable, I tried sipping on a cup of coffee and it left no traces on the cup. Comparing to other matte lipsticks out there, this one is very affordable and I would highly recommend it to others.”
