The NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Lip LingerieLipstick comes in a transparent lip gloss tube on which the brand and collection names are embossed. It also comes with a black cap that closes securely. As for the applicator wand, it is quite long compared to those of other lip gloss brands. Yet, its doe foot is fairly thin, which allows you to shape your lips perfectly.
Available Colors and tested colors:
This Lipstick collection is made up of 24 different colors, most of which lean towards earthy shades. However, we noticed that many of these liquid lipsticks give off almost the exact same color upon application. So it is best that you try out the color shades before buying any, especially the similar ones, in order to avoid buying two of the same color. If you’re into vibrant colors like bright red, keep in mind that this collection does not offer any. We have tested: Cabaret Show: A dark rose color at a first glance, but gives more of a dusty tone upon application and French Maid: A muted mauve color.
Texture:
The texture of these liquid lipsticks is more whipped and mousse-like, versus the usual watery texture you see in liquid lipsticks.
Scent:
The Lingerie lipsticks have a strong and unpleasant odor that might irritate you during application.
Effect:
These liquid lipsticks hold down well on the lips and don’t fade out easily even when exposed to water or food, so you will definitely need some makeup remover wipes to wipe them off completely. In comparison with other matter lipsticks, the NYX Lip Lingerie last longer and don’t transfer to what they come in contact with, whether hand or glass. Moreover, what distinguishes them is that they take a few seconds to dry matte on your lips, which allows you to adjust the color as you wish.
On a different note, there are some negative features we noticed about the NYX Lip Lingerie. First off, just like several other matte lipsticks, they dry out the lips and bring out the cracks on them. So you should definitely exfoliate and moisturize your lips prior to application, otherwise you will shortly notice the flakiness. We also noticed that the colors don’t settle on the lips as they appear through the tube. That’s another thing you should look out for since they tend to appear darker and dustier on the lips. Other than that, make sure to avoid consecutively applying two layers of these lipsticks, for you will achieve a totally different color than perceived through the tube.
Price:
The NYX Lip Lingerie retails in Lebanon at 12.6$, which is comparable to Maybelline New York Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick sold at 12$ and is less pricey then L’Oreal Paris Infallible Les Macarons sold at 16$.

Long lasting, matte but non sticky, you can not but fall in love with this lipstick from Nyx. I have the color “LIPLI 12” I’m in love with this shade, it suits all makeup looks. Highly recommended!!

Hello ounousa’s ladies, the lingerie lipstick was very trendy two years ago. this product gives the lips a matt look without any stickiness. it is very comfortable and ou can wear it for the whole. it doesn’t hurt the sensitive lips. i recommend it!

Not bad. So soft and light on lips but because of cracking a lip moisturizer is a must before using it. It smells good but it isn’t long lasting at all and that was a turn off for me.

“I have bought around 4 shades of this lipstick as i have read good reviews about it. All the shades ended up almost similarly brownish in color though i aimed for the nudes. the color range isnt satisfying if you are looking for a rosy browny nude , or even peachy as they are all brown and end up differently on ur lips than the actual color. cracks a lot and very drying on the lips , doesn’t come off easily and cannot conceal the cracks by putting a second layer . u’ll be left with an unattractive outcome.”

“I love this product. I’m not usually much of a lipstick person since I tend to bite and lick my lips a lot throughout the day, however, I love how nude colors look on me and this product perfectly combines the glamour of a nude and creamy lip along with the comfort of a lip balm for daily use, the color is also very soft thus giving a casual look as well. The only inconvenient is that it wears off easily and must be retouched several times throughout the day. Other than that, definitely recommended!”

“Honestly I wad confused to rate it a 3 or 4,but i ll settle for a 3 over 5 Why? First of all IT’S STICKY AND I HAVE STICKY LIQUID LIPSTICK, (tho i found a little trick to avoid the stickiness by applying a lip balm before applying the lip lingerie which will give a little moisture to this liquid lip) 2nd the color range is beautiful for someone who doesn’t like bright colors but with this formula i would like to have a red color because it’s long lasting and it doesn’t smudge. Last but not least, personally i don’t like this doe foot applicator for this liquid lip, because as you said the formula is whipped and mousse like so it s not thaaat precise application and you always need a lip liner before applying this lipstick. What saves this liquid lip,it s very long lastingg, and for a nude/earthy tone liquid lip there a wide range you can choose from. I have 2 shades : Ruffle Trim and Exotic Exotic is a must, loveee this color”

“The only thing I liked about this lipstick is the variety of the color range. Otherwise, I could not stand it for more than 2 minutes. The minute you open the lipstick, you can smell the chemicals. It feels very heavy on the lips and dries quickly, giving you everything but smooth and soft lips. Take a bite or a sip and the color is gone. Don’t buy it if you like your lipstick to smell fresh, look good on your lips and last.”

I bought the lipli 20 shade and it was fine what I didn’t like in it is that it’s so hard to remove and if you put two coats you lips will stick together well it lasts forever but not the best for me
