The Maybelline New York Eyestudio Hyper Precise Liquid Liner looks like a sharp black pen, cap and bottom included. The cap actually changes colors, depending on the shade that you chose to buy. On the bottom half of the liner, the name of the product as well as the brand are written in silver, and above that the brand has styled the pen with a shiny fuchsia band. When you remove the cap, the pen has a thin 0.4 millimeters brush felt tip which disperses the product.
All in all, the liquid liner is quite sober, easy to pack and travel with, and quickly identifiable among your other beauty items.

Scent:
This liquid liner is fragrance free. It has a bit of a chemical smell that disappears almost immediately.
Application:
First, use the tip of the ultra-fine brush to apply the eyeliner to upper lid sideways in order to get precise lines. Then, you can use the liner tip to trace a wing. The grip added by the brand on the top half of the liner and the continuous flow of ink provides smooth even lines.
Effect:
The brand claims this liquid liner is long-wearing, water and smudge-proof, and that it delivers precise definition in just one stroke. It also claims that the highly pigmented formula will keep your eyeliner look last all day, for up to 12 hours.
We really enjoyed trying out this calligraphy-inspired eyeliner. It is really easy to use for a thin line along the lash-line, but you can also build it up to be really dramatic. Thanks to its super-saturated pigments, it provides great intensity for eye design that is ultra-defined, with the continuous ink flow providing smooth even lines for the perfect cat eye.
We were very happy to learn that it is suitable for sensitive eyes as well as contact lens wearers.
We would definitely recommend this Maybelline New York liner for first-timers wanting to try out a liquid liner, because it is quite easy so you really can’t go wrong.

This liquid liner is priced at $12.3 for 1ml. It is very competitive pricing wise, compared to similar products from matching brands and range such as the Pupa skinny liner priced at 17$ for 1ml or more expensive Bourjois Paris Liner Feutre priced at 20$ for 0.8ml.

I found this eyeliner very easy to use as the end is pretty sharp which allows for drawing the eyeliner with minimal mistakes for beginners. It is also long lasting and the color is pretty strong which brings out the eyeliner nicely.
