Bain Après Soleil is a shampoo by Kérastase especially designed for post-sun haircare to remove chlorine, sand and salt after a long day at the beach.
Packaging:
Kérastase adopts the same design for its shampoo bottles, but with a different color for each set. The brand chose the red color for the “Après Soleil” range that makes the shampoo easy to spot when seen among other shampoos. Although the design is elegant, the packaging does not include a pump as all Kérastase shampoo bottles, and therefore you must be careful when squeezing out the bottle to get exactly the right amount you need for your hair.
Smell:
This shampoo has a strong jasmine scent that keep your hair remarkably perfumed. The smell lasts for more than two days after washing your hair, giving you a feeling of relaxation and freshness whenever you move your locks.
Texture:
This shampoo has a very light and transparent gel texture.
Hair type:
Bain Après Soleil shampoo suits all hair types.
Application:
Wet your hair with water, distribute the shampoo, then massage softly and rinse with lukewarm water. Repeat this twice to get rid of any residue left on the scalp. After shampooing, you can apply “Masque Après-Soleil” in case you have thick hair or “Crème UV Sublime” if you have thin hair.
Effect:
In the summer we always suffer from hair dryness and loss of vitality and shine due to sun exposure and its harmful ultraviolet rays and after spending long days at the beach. Other external factors can have a big impact on our hair, such as humid breeze, sand, saltwater and chlorine in pools that strip the hair of its natural oils. So we picked for you the right shampoo for this hot season that can be pretty damaging for your hair.
We found what we’re looking for at Kérastase, which offers a full range of after-sun hair care, and one of the most notable products is the coconut water-enriched shampoo, that we tested on normal hair and noticed how effective it is on several fronts..
We spent long days at the beach and used “Bain Après Soleil” afterwards to wash our hair. We noticed that our hair became remarkably less dry. It deeply moisturized the hair despite its exposure to all harming factors that we mentioned above.
Moreover, every time we washed the hair, we felt a noticeable coldness in the scalp, as if the shampoo calmed the effect of the sun, and relieved its irritation, in addition to its high ability to clean and get rid of all residues and accumulations.
So this shampoo gave us exactly what we needed: freshness and hydration! This also had a positive effect in terms of restoring the shine lost due to dryness. Thus, we can say that “Bain Après Soleil” is your perfect companion in the hot season, to prevent losing its vitality once summer ends.
Finally, it should be noted that the normal hair on which we tested the shampoo was dyed. The shampoo helped maintain the color despite its exposure to sea salt and sun known for striping hair’s color.

When I got this product, I didn’t expect it would fit my hair type especially that it’s too soft and thin and oily in the summer. I used to end summer with damaged hair ends, but since I started using the Kerastase Bain Apres Soleil, it magically worked on my hair by removing all the residues from the sea salt after a beach day, keeping it shiny, healthy, and moisturized. Not to mention its nice smell! Maybe it was my first try with a “Pro” shampoo, but it’s definitely highly recommended and a must try!

Due to previous experiences of my hair getting wet and exposed to sea salt and chlorine from the beach or pool i used to hate my self for ruining my hair, so I used to make sure after that not to get my hair wet once i go to the beach or to the pool, But after i got to know about Bain Après Soleil shampoo i gave it a try after risking exposing my hair to sea salt and chlorine, the result was amazing and effective after i showered my hair. It removed all the residues that ruin the hair and made my hair soft again.
I love this amazing shampoo, i’m using it daily even if i don’t go to the beach or the swimming pool.

First of all the smell is amazing 😍
Travel size lasts more than you think,
It helped with keeping my curls and giving a shine, while my hair felt less dry,
Attention: Put a small amount of shampoo in the palm of your hand and foam it up a little. Only then put in the hair.

I used this shampoo several time this summer, it’s amazing i usually used normal shampoo when i went to the beach but when i used this one i changed my mind, it’s amazing it removes all the salt from my hair and it hydrate my hair too. It’s a must try !!

I don’t usually pay attention to shampoos as I consider masks a much more important step, however after I’ve tried this shampoo I have changed my mind, investing in a great shampoo pays off so well.

First of all, the scent of this line is amaaaazing, I needed something to remove all this salt (lol) and hydrate my hair. A little goes a long way so even the travel size will last you for 2 weeks. I also felt my waves/curls looked more bouncy and shiny.

I’ve tested this product for 2 weeks on my normal (type) hair (no dye), and let me tell you how awesome it is. This shampoo hydrates the hair perfectly minus the greasiness which is very hard for a normal shampoo to achieve. Also, my hair smelled really good afterwards which is always a bonus for a professional shampoo. Remember that a little goes a long way with this product, hence it being worth the money! This shampoo is a game changer for sun exposed hair.. I’ve been suffering with dry and dull hair every summer until i discovered this range from Kerastase and it literally took my hair into different level! I have tried a few of Kerastase hair products and I’ve really enjoyed all of them. They are all professional products. This shampoo is great for after the sun/pool/salt water exposure in the summer. As it already states. It did leave my hair perfectly clean from the chlorine after the pool and it left it very smooth. We all know how hard and tangled our hair gets after the beach. I would really advise this shampoo for the beach loving girls. You need it.

Hair feels light and very clean after getting rid of sand and salt. I don’t usually get the feeling of cleanliness easily after beach using other shampoos, but this helped! Smells good but not strong. The mini size with the mask and leave in spray is perfect for a beach trip!

What i like mostly about this shampoo is that it doesn’t dry out my highlighted hair, and i only need a small amount of product to completely clean my hair.
I also like its very fresh and summery scent infused with coconut but not overpowering.
Never really thought i needed this bundle but definitely changed my mind after using it😍

First of all all i want to tell u that my hair is treated by keratine so i used to swim in pool without getting my hair wet So that the keratine will be ruined . But after getting this range from ounoussa reviews I went ro the pool and let my hair to get wet for the first time for years and went home washed my hair with this shampoo. I used to deal with a problem that I never feel my hair is clean after heading to the beach or to the pool due to the chlorine or to the salt in addition to the oil while I touch my hair… After getting the bundle I waited to get back from the pool then I took a bath and I felt the difference directly since I only needed to wash my hair once to remove the chlorine smell and the bad texture out of my hair and feel so fresh like I never been there! My hair was very clean and alive although I set in the sun for more than 3 hours! I LOVE IT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and Btw although it cleans but it has a smooth harmless texture with s vanilla scent if I am correct… Amazing! I recommend using the full bundle for an amazing effect

I have always been a fan of Kerastase products. Whenever I use them, i feel like i’m doing my hair a favor. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a video showcasing the effect of the sun on the hair- and a girl saying Don’t Burn Your Hair. and I started thinking about this ever since. With this new product, I know my hair is getting the needed treatment after a day in the sun, exposed to sunlight, chlorine and sand. I love it and the glow it gives my hair after!

Kerastase products don’t come cheapp, but if you use them faithfully your hair will look healthy and beautiful. This particular product also protects hair from sun damage and chlorine in swimming pools: a common problem for women who like to spend time outside in the summer. I highly recommend this product
